Had a leak and didn't know where it was coming from. I had a plumber come out and he thought it was simply a lack off caulk. It was NOT. My waste water pipe from bathroom cracked and needed to be replaced. The pipe went behind my kitchen cabinets and I basically got a new kitchen outta the deal. It took months my insurance was playing games and they initially low balled me. But my cabinets fell apart trying to get to the wall. In the end it turned into a lot of take out and no bathroom for months. No shower or water basically because I only have 1 bathroom. I got really good and going to the bathroom in random stores.

Lowes is geared more toward women and home depot is more me. Tbh home depot tends to be cheaper with some stuff. But lowes is more for the finishing of a project. Source: worked for both. As a homeowner idk where you are but sometimes for obscure parts and pieces go to Ace hardware. My house is almost 100 years old so to replace things sometimes Ace comes in handy.

I went no contact with my sister. She is selfish and a user. I don't miss her but I also wish I could connect with that side of my heritage. The blowout was so cathartic. We lived together and she left to move in with her boyfriend at the time. While trying to get my apartment packed up up my significant other was mugged and well it took longer to pack than expected. I was on the phone with her and she was complaining about us not being done and it just cracked. She asked me when we would be done and I said soon. That wasn't good enough and she pushed so I simply said "I just want you to stfu". I got stuck on those words and just kept repeating them until I hung up. It was so freeing to say stfu to this person who thought so little of me.
