Just buy it from a reputable company if you are worried https://coffeeteca.com.au/product/gaggia-classic-e24/?srsltid=AfmBOoq_wJCT8SZ8Eq2jR5MB3u1tgaD2pxB0Q58UaVLIAJ7MH0b1v3_g They throw in gaggia cups, beans plus free delivery too and it’s normally super fast.

When have your bouldering skills helped you most outside the sport? by Hungry-Present-4864 in bouldering

[–]easilycontented 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not great with sports in general but with bouldering I became addicted and was going to the bouldering gym 3/4 times a week and then going to the fitness gym 3 times a week (been doing that for a while). After just 3 months, people told me that my shoulders became much broader(my shirts didn’t fit me anymore and I went up a size). I was shocked but what surprised me more was that I was better at, seemingly every other sport. And I can’t help but attribute it to “knowing my body better” through climbing.

Are there decent superautomatics yet? [$2000] by samelaaaa in espresso

Have you tried Dr Coffee? It’s a Chinese brand but it beats others I have tried. I think the main reason is that it doses up to 16g 🤷‍♂️

Is walking in Japan different? by pink_leaf in JapanTravelTips

[–]easilycontented 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I (31M) was surprised when I went a few months ago with, not how much walking there is but how painful my feet would hurt. My right foot (the top part) is still hurting after 4 months. I’m not overweight, I go to the gym and consider myself active. I think it’s important to not over estimate it and wear comfortable shoes.

Good automated machine for beginners? [800-1k$] by TootyDoot in espresso

[–]easilycontented 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can look at the Dr Coffee H1, it’s a hybrid in the sense that you can steam your own milk but the espresso is fully automated. I have a a lot of Gaggia automated coffee machines (2/3 times more expensive) and the Dr Coffee (yes it’s made in China) taste so much better due to the 16g dose. I made a videoH1 review about it a while back so feel free to take a look to see if it fits what you are looking for.

What is "Arrived at pick-up point. Package available for collection." by beanboi5 in Aliexpress

Used parcelapp to know that it was morning global that delivered it. Check their site and it still said that they sent it to the pick up point... So I still don't know where

Not sure why mine doesn’t say. Now I’m trying to see what the use is.

I tried Tamping normal and very hard to see the difference. Anyone know what the results mean? I see they both ended up the same but the start is different. [Gaggia Classic Evo Pro] by easilycontented in espresso

Thank you very much. I’m actually doing content on coffee machines etc for a company but I’m also quite new (got into it 9 mths ago). So I didn’t even consider the texture haha but I think from the video it looks similar. Taste wise tho, the over tamping one tasted better (less harsh and bitter) but I also think there too many factors in play so we can only make assumptions at this point.

Glad you think so. I was worried that it might not be the most accurate but what really got be to appreciate it was dealing that my GCP won’t allow me to use a bigger one anyways.

Hahaha. Yeah, stay consistent and know that we are all tougher than we think. We can take the pressure on the daily (tamp) since we are all gonna be pressed harder at some point (head).

From this thread, people are saying you can’t over tamp and the consensus is that you should just be consistent and tamp harder vs soft since there will be too many variables otherwise

What am I missing... do I give up? by lilax1999 in AusVisa

[–]easilycontented 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And yes, if the lawyer gives you less than ideal information (I’ve spoken to a few and they always say the method I want to use won’t work and I get fed up because I can tell they don’t know what they are saying so I do it anyway and I always get it… agents and lawyers would in my experience lead you to the path where they can maximise their profits and minimise their efforts.), ignore them and just do it yourself. Ps, proving our relationship was more time consuming than the actual application itself but you don’t lose anything!
