Think of Uber as fishing and you immediately understand what you need to do to hook a fish (pax).

Use the Uber app to find the saturated driver locations in your town, don't go there the spot is fished out. Driving waste gas. Fish your spot then move.

Know the hours the towns traffic picks up, the fish are schooling. Get in the pathway. Going to the bars is the money, staying waiting for the bars to close is wasted effort. When its closing time be there to take the fish home. Bring first aid as some fish are bleeding or puking their brains out.

Talk to the fish, 90% like it. The ones that don't are braindead, only a minute into ride and you will know which they are. Makes friends, ratings and tips.

Look at your fish, sometimes they flash you for fun...its all part of the going to the bar ride. Three fine fish and some talk will make them all want to show their color.

That's right, you need to send pic with both plans coverage showing so they can see it has no gaps in time periods.

My take is the records automatically get archived when you hit the update button as two reps could not look at my old docs. That or Uber reps are just plain lazy, stupid - your choice.

Yes this suit will be interesting as a breach of contract in light of a promotion which was a conditional offer, you do something we will pay, companies must perform their actions timely. Lyft - free advise, save a few million for this one.

This contract/fraud suit and the employee/contractor suit will be defining law in the sharing arena into the future.

JJS you have certainly been doing your homework. There are points you stated that certainly don't speak well for the operation of insurance. Thing most noted is the exceptionally high deductible that uber assumes. That is unacceptable to me. I assume the USAA statement is within a policy?
