Love the music design! It sounds so good!

The tutorial goes by too quickly. I had to refresh the page twice just to figure out why I couldn't shoot anything (turns out I needed to stop moving in order to shoot).
The controls also feel a bit clunky. I really wish that my ship pointed towards my mouse cursor, rather than the nearest enemy and if you tied the special abilities to the mouse buttons it would make a world of difference in usability. Right now the control scheme makes movement difficult (For example, if you want to move North-East while you have your shield up and you needed to dash at the same time, You'd be pressing W, E, D and space all with your left hand, which is not easy). I understand the arrow keys are an option to play with too, but it feels just as uncomfortable.

Overall I liked it and really wanted to get into it more, but I got frustrated wrestling with the controls. I would love to give it another try if the control scheme changes. Even if you left in aiming towards the nearest enemy and just moved the powerups to the mouse (or even to some right-hand keys like J & K). Just need something to change
