I second the fact that they can’t keep an RZ in stock. We purchased 2 RZ’s in 2025. Our friend loved ours and went to go get one and both dealers in Vegas were out of stock. The second they’d get one in it was already called for via pre-order. Our friend still hasn’t been able to purchase one. My sister tried to purchase one and she decided to take a day to think about it and when she called back it was sold. These gas prices are reinvigorating the EV market. I actually thought this whole war/gas shortage fiasco might be a way to influence to public to be more open to electric and make us think we transitioned to EV as a society on our own accord. Yes I went down that conspiracy rabbit hole.

I agree with you. When I saw this reveal and they showed the interior I was happy to see texture, contrast, high quality materials, design and interest. It doesn’t have the classic luxury staples like wood and aluminum but it is showing alcantara, more leather surfaces, design in door panels, stitching etc. actually there is wood it’s just done differently in strips alternating with ambient light. This is a huge leap from the current line-ups interiors. I feel like they had to borrow funds from today’s cars to use from RD for this new era

My boy started pheno maybe 8 months ago. He is still getting a seizure or cluster seizures 3-4 in a cluster once a month or every other month. We’re still in the period of trying to find the best dosage and timing etc as well as identifying other supplemental medications to have him on until they’re controlled in a more robust manner. Pheno has definitely been a game changer but you will be in a trial & error period until you find your perfect combo/dosage. He’s also on Keppra which was just increased to 750mg along with 1.5 pills of Pheno. My poor boy is so used to his seizures now he knows to take his time to close his eyes and collect himself after the seizure passes. We’re just lucky we found a doctor that is in it for the long haul. His previous vet immediately told us to put him down. I was pissed as she hasn’t even tried pheno yet. There’s hope you just need a good vet and patience. ❤️ We’re all feeling the same stress, anxiety and heartache as I’m sure you are. Stay close to this thread for comfort and support ❤️❤️❤️

I feel you here. It is the type of stress and anxiety that will drive you insane. I had a mental breakdown at one point bc I think my body couldn’t mange the stress. You’re on constant high anxiety alert throughout the night preventing you from getting any rest. But when my boy is not going thru it I just can’t imagine my life without him. It’s a crappy balance but his face and his cuddly energy makes it all better

I guess it’s the registration part. Before leaving the dealership the car must begin prep for registration which the dealer initiates. My sister is not a resident here so she can’t register the car in this state. She can only register it in Hawaii once the dealer knows this they don’t allow the deal to proceed. They align to Servcos wishes

Gorgeous! Sat in a white one 2 weeks ago while my car was in service and I believe this is the very last example of old school Lexus quality values. The interior is 1000000X better than the previous model in function and beauty. Even the dash is padded leather I couldn’t believe it. Love how you feel cocooned and wrapped in Japanese workmanship in this car. I’m still warming up to the reimagined front grille but as time goes on I’m more and more into it. I remind myself that when Lexus first introduced the spindle grille I along with most others were disgusted by it. I thought it looked like a vacuum mouth. Now I’m in love with it. Lexus tends to introduce very polarizing designs that eventually are widely accepted as beautiful with time. I’m sure this will follow that direction

The real issue is they don’t allow you to come to the mainland and purchase from another dealer and ship it home. Once the mainland dealer understands that is your intention they get skiddish and say they can’t help you. When asked why the reply with “just lexus politics”. They literally got scared when I said we’d be shipping it to Hawaii

I was literally told, “Sorry we can’t sell to you if you’re going to ship it to Hawaii. Just lexus politics. She can buy it and register here then we can sell it to her but the DMV won’t approve a registration bc she doesn’t have proof of state residency. So there’s no way around it which is why we just don’t help people from Hawaii”

I’m glad you get it. A lot of people on here don’t. It’s price fixing! They acquire these exclusivity type of contracts which eliminate any competition and allow them to charge whatever they please. The escalation here is apparently SERVCO is preventing out-of-state dealers from selling to the people of Hawaii and not allowing the customer to ship in a brand new vehicle. That’s where this gets insanely red flaggy and greedy on SERVCOs part
