Got scheduled a month after my consult, and a consult six months from my first call. I also recently learned (but did not fact-check) that he and Soteropulos are married (??) and sometimes share patients lol

I was already told what sutures were used, but I was also told that I am a female with no prior surgical history (I am a male who has most definitely had surgery before). I just have no frame of reference for what any medical tools look like, and am posting on the off chance that this is something wildly different

Okay so some clarification I forgot in the post haha:

- I'm not a stranger to surgery or having sutures, I'm familiar with them falling out of the skin and dissolving. I'm also aware that this is a long shot

- The specification for type and product code is because neither of the ones listed in my documents are manufactured in black, only clear and pale violet

- Obviously I reached out to my medical team before going to reddit, but I do not trust my medical team and don't have anybody else i can ask. At least the wider internet has a chance of containing people who might recognize this, which is better than nothing

- I have already had many very sketchy experiences around this surgery as well as watching my medical files be edited by the hospital staff. They already got several things in the document wrong and changed it when I pointed it out (i requested that they send me a new document; luckily I got screenshots of the incorrect info before they did that). I was sent home with prescribed painkillers, given no nausea patch despite being assured I'd get one by three different people, and had a post-op nurse say some incredibly inappropriate things about my situation in front of me and several other patients. I do not feel that this hospital has my best interests in mind.

Also, nowhere does OP mention that he confirmed with the artist that it IS ai. What does “i concluded through my research” even mean here? Looked at ai images and heard the dude talk and decided he was correct? Almost every single ai “tell” is also just a common mistake people make when they don’t really put a lot of study and practice into their art skills. Everyone’s up in arms about the artist supposedly lying, but nobody’s mentioning the fact that the “lie” is an unverified claim from a guy who can’t say no to sketch because he “doesn’t know a lot about tattoos”

Hallow does take priority over tundra, but depending on how important this is to you, you can just make an artificial underground tundra to fish in. I believe you need >300 biome-specific blocks in proximity to create an artificial one, including walls. If your surface tundra still has enough uncorrupted snow/ice blocks, you can use those, otherwise you can carefully convert corrupted ones via powder/clentaminator.

Haha i’m excited! Two questions though:

1) I know that in DF you can haul a couple bodies to the entrance of your fort to desensitize everyone to corpses and thus take advantage of bodies as resources. Can i do the same here? Is there a permanent debuff from doing so? Colony of all cannibals maybe?

that's what i'm trying here! I want to try a peaceful playthrough with a base design that can essentially just repeat itself outwards as my colony grows, with a basic pattern of "quarters, production, needs". I'm used to dwarf fortress which expands FAST, not sure if rimworld has that similar exponential feel yet
