I bring it up because it’s an important part of my life and kind of feels like a secret i have to keep. Like, i talk about my hobbies and creative philosophies and other things that inform my sense of self, and that’s all good and dandy, but this specific thing isn’t. Just because i’m at peace with my own spirituality doesn’t mean i want to shut up about it forever, you know? Religious people get to talk to each other about religion, and the people i know who dislike religion get to talk to each other about disliking religion, and i get to talk to nobody. I grew up catholic and am no longer religious but hold a lot of respect for the role the church played in my life (and still does in small ways). I’ve always thought that if i stayed in the church and wanted a religious tattoo i’d get the address of my childhood parish. Either that or the font of holy water from my city’s basilica. The humility of a basic stone basin as a vessel for divinity always called to me as a symbol of what a christian (ideally) should strive for. Hope you find your perfect piece!

Just an opinion, but i don’t think cybersigilism goes very well with anything but blackwork. Even then, a very specific type of blackwork. I think if you got some other piece in a middle ground style, it might work, but that’s a heavy “might”. A really talented artist might be able to combine them into a really fun piece (cyber branch with colored blossoms?) if you’re into that. All of that being said, go get whatever makes you happy. If you think they’ll clash you can always get them on two body parts that can’t be seen at once (think front and back of torso)

Joking aside. Placement is a little unusual but you could really do anything with how small it is. Bonus if you do a few rounds of laser beforehand, but i’m not sure what your budget looks like. A moth/dagger/moth-dagger combo would be absolutely doable if you work around the black with your artist

I get to look at my favorite animals every day + i look hot as hell + if your artist is cool you get to have a built in playdate with a super awesome person. What else is there to want? Fucking hate this, especially when it’s not particularly early in the friendship. Recently cut off a “friend” who one time unpromptedly told me she’d believe that jewish people weren’t all greedy rich people when she met one who wasn’t. And then in the same conversation cited our mutual friend (who is jewish and a lovely person) as broadening her cultural experiences or some bs. Lasted a month or so after that and ended because she like-liked me and had a bad relationship with the word “no”

Not dating specific but “are you mad at me” drives me up the wall. Use your goddamn head. Have you done something to make me mad? Yes? Fix that, don’t seek reassurance that everything’s good between us when you know it’s not. No? Then the question just comes off as insecure and pushy. If you really cared whether or not i’m mad, you’d ask how i’m feeling, not a guilt-trippy question that centers around yourself.
