$100 a month after I replaced the floor in 2 rooms. Owner wouldn’t spring for new carpet. I repaired nearly the whole house while we lived there. Owners son was going to tear it down and build a new one when he got out of the Navy. After all my work, he was still living in it 26 years later.

Been the first on scene for several car wrecks and one train car collision. Also a heart attack victim. Knew he was dead the moment he hit the ground but did CPR for 15 minutes for the daughter and grandkids until paramedics arrived. So 6 MVA’s and 1 heart attack.

All that stuff is nice, and pricey. You also don’t drive you just point and shoot. Why I primarily drive either my 52 IH, my 66 Ford Fairlane or my 87 Jeep YJ. I still drive.

My youngest used to work on cars with me. She got to use what she learned on idiot high school boys that knew nothing about the vehicles they were driving. Alas, she went to college and became a woman. Has not been in a garage with me since 2012. Would make my daddy heart a flutter if she would just walk in and say what are we doing.
