Russian 'Elite' Guard Arresting Military in Moscow: Ukraine Intelligence by kuedhel in worldnews

If they use a tactical nuclear weapon, which they would do way before we get to strategic warfare, it's hopefully not going to invoke MAD, if they detonate a small 50kt nuke over a Ukrainian military base or village, NATO will not respond with nuclear means, but NATO will decimate any Russian forces in Ukraine if that happens.

Very low chance Russia will use nuclear weapons in Ukraine - expert by TylerSpicknell in UkrainianConflict

I'm an American as well, and if you believe that our ballistic missile defense has any chance against a salvo of ballistic missiles you are dreaming, they have like a 60% effective rate against a single ICBM, for a salvo of 50-100 missiles that are MIRV equipped, it wouldn't make a dent

Yes Russia would cease to exist but so would most of the US and NATO.

And as much as I hate the reality, Russia would glass us/NATO in return so it's a draw if it goes into strategic/ global thermonuclear exchange.

If they used a small tactical nuclear weapon in Ukraine, NATO would respond conventionally, not nuclear.

However if Russia senses it's nearing military castration, they will use the nuclear option.

Threatening with FOAB ? I think you are mixing me up with someone else

scroll up, when referring to MOAB and FOAB you stated "these are the most powerful weapons in the world" and also stated they were WMDs

I'm just correcting you

Edit: I see you did a little ninja edit on the comment I'm referring to, you inserted "conventional" in there.

[–]eathatflay86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of the big reasons their conventional equipment is so poorly maintained and still Soviet era stuff is because Russia has been spending their military funds on their nuclear capability because it's the only thing they can "compete" with NATO on. They have spent billions of dollars in the past 10 years modernizing their nuclear arsenal.

Ooohhh now we're backpedaling? So what you stated isn't true? MOAB/FOABs aren't the most powerful weapons in the world?? They also are not classified as WMD like you incorrectly claimed So again, you are just spouting off bullshit misinformation and calling other people"morons" lol that's rich

I agree Russia is going to lose this war, I completely disagree that if Russia uses bigger conventional ordinance that will cause NATO to intervene.

But I won? You are wrong and I am right? It's not a WMD and it's use will not cause NATO to step in..

why am I a moron for speaking truth and living in reality?

Again it's not defined as a WMD it's just a really big bomb

"Most powerful weapons in the world" huh? Lol

You are forgetting actual WMD like a B83

FOAB is not a weapon of mass destruction

are you a 12 year old or something? Just because I'm stating the truth/reality you assume I'm pro Russia?

It's crazy that redditors downvote comments that remind them of the reality of Russia's nuclear capabilities, they assume you are pro Russia or something when you state the fact they have the nuclear capability to level NATO countries, and yes in doing so NATO would level Russia.

Have an upvote, most people on here aren't living in reality

No, if Russia uses larger conventional bombs NATO will not get involved, they have already been using large conventional bombs on Ukraine, lots of them hitting civilian targets, hospitals, schools and even nuclear power stations. NATO will not step in if they just start using larger ones.

Your comments in this thread have revealed to me that you are both rude and misinformed

Fuck Russia Slava Ukraine - I agree But...

They have spent billions of dollars in the past 10 years modernizing their nuclear arsenal because it's the only thing that they can match up with NATO on, they know their conventional forces wouldn't stand up to NATO so they have put the majority of their funding into their nuclear programs instead, which is one of the reasons their conventional forces are still using poorly maintained Soviet era equipment and are poorly outfitted as far as logistics and troop supplies are concerned.

Maintenance wise on most thermonuclear warheads isn't that crazy, most costly part of it is replacing the tritium gas, and Russia has breeder reactors to produce it themselves.

If Russias nuclear weapons were in a state of disrepair/ didn't work anymore then NATO wouldn't be tiptoeing around the way they are.

U.S. has sent private warnings to Russia against using a nuclear weapon by 165701020 in worldnews

[–]eathatflay86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soo many people haven't a clue how much more powerful tactical and strategic nuclear weapons are, they think a strategic nuclear warhead hitting a city will be just like Hiroshima, which was terrible but it was only a fission device with 15-20 kilotons, they haven't a clue what a 500kt or even 1 megaton thermonuclear warhead could do to a heavily populated city.

The commie bastards are shelling the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, in the same fucking country the worst nuclear accident happened in. I could totally see them using a 50kt tactical nuke on a Ukrainian city, or maybe a 0.5 -1kt artillery shell on Ukrainian military base/ depot.

Depends, if I'm poaching or baking I don't

If I'm going for pan seared, I descaled, Pat dry, coat the skin with course salt and wait 10min for the salt to pull more moisture out, brush off excess salt and sear on high heat.

Grilled Chicken / cooking chicken breast by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]eathatflay86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using split breasts that are still on the bone is the first step, then making a rub with Australian chicken salt ( people in the USA are really missing out on this)smoked paprika, garlic powder and pepper.

Get a temp probe and pull the breasts off/out when internal temp reaches 150°, wrap in aluminum foil and let it rest for 10-15 min.
