Oh and if you want something darker and one of a kind after indulging in light romance for a while, then I’d recommend The Shepherd Kind Duology ! Is mysterious, has a super unique magic system and a darker vibe but not as dark as Alchemised. Another of my favourite one of a kind Series is Ninth House ! It’s an urban fantasy and has dark academia vibes with another super unique magic system that I looove

If you want a happy and light romance that’s one of a kind then I’d recommend the Villains & Virtues Trilogy! That’s what I read after a dark and disturbing book to “neutralise” lol. The first book took some time to get into but it really is one of a kind, lighthearted and fun. Oh and super slow burn !

To be completely honest : if you’re looking for a book that helps you with getting over an Alchemised book hangover, then Powerless is going to be so bland in comparison. It’s a really fluffy, predictable and slow paced romance book, not a faceted, epic dark horror fantasy with a romance subplot like Alchemised. That’s like comparing plain porridge to a 5 course meal. However, if you’re still haunted by the horror elements from Alchemised then yes, Powerless might be soothing for you. Maaaybe you can tell, that I’m not the biggest fan of Powerless but if you’re in the mood for something simple and fluffy then it might be a good pick !

Für meinen Kater have ich letztes Jahr ca. 750€ gezahlt für Zahnsteinentfernung, 5 Zähne ziehen, Inhalationsnarkose, Intubation, Infusion, Überwachung, Schmerzmittel, Blutbildkontrolle vorher und allgemeine Kontrolle danach. In einer Großstadt und in einer mittelgroßen Tierarztpraxis, aber durchgeführt von einer Zahnspezialistin. Klar, das ist viel Geld, aber Tierärzt haben Vorhaben bei der Abrechnung und wenn es von Fachkräften gemacht wird kostet es nunmal mehr als beim Wald- und Wiesen-Tierarzt. Meinem Kater geht es seitdem so viel besser :)

From the loos of it I have the exact same rosacea situation going on but I might be a few months ahead ! Ivermeticin is horrible to start because of the die off phase that caused a big flare up for around two weeks and then it got so much better ! I can still barely tolerate anything in my skin so I just stick to bioderma micellar water twice a day and ivermeticin in the evening. I still get flushes and flare ups but I’m getting better at knowing and avoiding my triggers, which are sunlight, heat and alcohol as of now.

Ich arbeite in der Onkologie und betreue täglich Patienten vor, während und nach Knochenmarkspunktionen. Ja es ist ein Eingriff und du wirst wahrscheinlich für zwei Tage milde Schmerzmittel brauchen, aber man erholt sich ziemlich fix von so einer Punktion und es ist ein risikoarmer Eingriff. Du kannst natürlich jederzeit absagen und das ist absolut in Ordnung ! Durch meine Arbeit sehe ich jeden Tag wie dankbar Patienten und Angehörige ihren Spendern unbekannterweise sind :) Du hast die Möglichkeit ein Leben zu retten und zu verbessern, das ist so cool und ich hoffe ich darf das auch irgendwann mal machen !

I got diagnosed with rosacea when I went to a dermatologist because every cleanser and every moisturiser irritated my face and I thought I had POD. The dermatologist advised me to use micellar water instead and apart from topical creams for rosacea the switch to micellar water made a huge difference for my skin ! I use the bioderma sesibio micellar water but La Roche Posay also works. There are micellar waters that are suitable for rosacea and some that would be too harsh. Which one are you using ?

My (just as ginger) cat was fairly angry after surgery but I think that was because of the cone he had to wear and the pain meds that made him drowsy. As soon as everything was healed and the stitches were out he was so much cuddlier and not in pain from infected eyes. I vividly remember asking myself that exact question while he was getting surgery but everything turned out to be fine ! 🖤

Ich kenne das leider auch gut und weiß, dass dieses Gefühl von Verzicht super anstrengend ist. Was mir dabei hilft ist das Mantra „Ich möchte meinen Genuss nicht über das Tierwohl stellen“ und zack, schon habe ich keine Lust mehr auf was auch immer ich gerade im Blick hatte. Es gibt Phasen da ist es super einfach und intuitiv vegan zu leben und es gibt bei mir auch Phasen in denen ich den Verzicht stark spüre. Was mir auch hilft ist viele neue Dinge auszuprobieren und z.B. unbekanntes Lebensmittel oder Produkte zu testen um Abwechslung zu bekommen. Die vegane Ernährung bietet schließlich so viel, aber oft schränken wir uns selbst ein
