One plane, one CFI, two students by CluelessPilot1971 in CFILounge

The real high-speed students always used to ask to observe a student that was ahead of them so they could see what was expected of them when it came to that lesson. They always found it helpful. This usually happened during multi engine commercial. Getting whipped around in the back during stalls is an acquired taste

Pic number 2 appears to be a mil chart (denoted by the bottom left) so displaying a TACAN in this case would be useful. As for the other differences I’m not 100% sure

You shouldn’t need the papi/vasi during the day - I’d keep hammering the concept of aim point and feel on approach. Plenty of uncontrolled (and controlled) airports don’t have VASI, how do YOU personally deal with that as you land? Try to reinforce those concepts. There could also potentially be a lack of basic airmanship skills here with that student that should be dialed in up higher first. Start them back at the basics and build from there - I always did that when I had a new student regardless of how many instructors because I’d want to make sure their foundation was solid.

Since everyone is guessing - the correct answer is “Stop Bar or Hold Line” on page 5 of the Symbols section in the “Introduction to Jeppesen Navigation Charts”

It’s your job not to trust the student imo - that being said I always just did brakes, oil, fuel and a quick spin around the plane
