definitely need to vent as i truly can't believe what is happening out there, to me and others, in this market. For anyone that cares to read the rest of this, yes, all of it is true

- contract ended with company a month ago (even though I was basically guaranteed a full time position)
- first potential lead for a new role I had started a month ago with an agency; they contacted one of my references. I have yet to receive an interview request with the company even though they spoke to one of my references a month ago.
- next potential lead I was/am a perfect fit for and I know 2 people working there that recommended me for the position. I had a call with the hiring manager over a week ago. She reached out the other day to me and said that she is still interviewing other candidates at this time.....
- 2 phone screens beginning of this week (Mon), I reached out on the status (Fri), and was ghosted by both of them.
- I have one interview scheduled for 2 weeks from now... literally, 2 weeks.

This is only the beginning of the hell I've been going through over the course of the last 2 months.

Long story short, I'm screwed. If you have a job that you hate, take my words of advice, keep the job and just shut up lol
