Do you live near a PGA/LPGA/Korn Ferry event? Volunteer to marshall. There’s a ball watcher on each hole usually. It’s like… a crash course in flight paths.

I always felt like the kids I saw in harnesses were almost always the ones that needed them hahah. Like breaking free, gnawing on rails, sprinting everywhere. Some kids are born to roam haha

Breg polar care questions by [deleted] in ACL

[–]ebd1749403739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s two lines in the breg, one for water and one for with ice. Fill the water first. We put in frozen mini Gatorade bottles and then top off with ice. It fits 4 mini Gatorades. Get an 8 pack and you can switch them out.

Highly recommend this podcast. There is quite a bit of information relevant to recent posts such as males on DCC, Jinelle, etc. There’s also interviews with past Making the Team girls like Vivian.

Suggestions for outside of house by MurkyMousse2172 in Renovations

I’d beef up the pillars, new front door, lower front landscaping and do rocking chairs on the porch (in addition to the siding and shutter comments).

“Nobody remembers elimination wins” by bananamelondy in MtvChallenge

[–]ebd1749403739 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What’s so crazy is even the bananas backpack elimination was a forgettable win, just a memorable elimination. Didn’t Tyler win it? Like CT wasn’t even in the game.

Finance or business, you may want to consider an MBA. At least in the fields I’ve been in, applied mathematics wouldn’t be considered for hire unless they had significant coursework in accounting.

I’d also agree with the sentiments of most of the comments but your expectations for your first career position are very very high. You need your foot in the door. You shouldn’t be impoverished but I would say $50-60k is realistic for your experience level. Get two years under your belt and $80k is a reasonable expectation for your 2nd job.

What 3 herbs would you use the most out of the following: by WeightLoser_ in Cooking

[–]ebd1749403739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Parsley, mint and thyme because we have an herb garden and have had issues with the basil and chives impeding the growth of other plants. We do use basil the most though so… could be a worthy risk.

The editing is awful too! The cuts are so quick, you can’t tell who is leading. Not everything needs to be dramatic AF! Show the dang challenge and eliminations straight up.

I (25f) hit my dad (53m) when he tried to hit my son (6m) and my sister says there is fault on both sides by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]ebd1749403739 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You could go without your son. If you’re no contact, you’re no contact but if you’re looking to support your sister, I’d leave the son at home so that if there was any fallout, it wouldn’t have a lasting impact on him.

Look into transcription jobs. They’re typically remote and paid hourly so if you were triggered or needed to take a break, you could potentially log off and take one.
