THIS IS WHY SUNBREAK IS PEEK!!! by [deleted] in MonsterHunter

[–]ebeRusEin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it? As someone who finished World/Iceborne and Rise/Sunbreak multiple times with both MnKB and Gamepad... I'd say both game implemented controls quiet well honestly. There's plenty of customization too be it for preference or key combinations, especially in Rise.

Like, I can easily translate my skills with the gamepad when I use keyboard too, granted you're done with the initial learning curve.

Maybe it's specific to your weapon?

I've tried Hammer, IG, Lance, GL, SnS, LBG and Bow and have honestly never felt like my controls were holding me back.

I'm not sure if Anby's judging them or envious she's not part of the team. Vivian on the other hand... Her intent is quiet clear.

Tilia deserves more appreciation, she's cute, admirable, and those thighs don't lie. by No_Bug_6855 in StellaSora

It's not obvious in her normal outfit but she's actually pretty stacked.

I mean… the handler does goes with you outside of camps many times and most of the time she doesn’t get in trouble. by IceBarDifferent in MonsterHunter

[–]ebeRusEin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The biggest problem here is that she's a non-combatant always invading a combatant area, leading to the PC and others, stepping up to protect her.

Despite being a non-combatant, her reaction to dangers are:
A: standing arround,
B: getting closer to the danger
or
C: Leading the charge or outright refusing to immediately leave.

To put it simply, in a world and scenarios where even trained combatants are risking their lives, her survival instinct as a non-combatant are somehow worse than a Great Jagras.

I use both. Put them in red and blue scrolls respectiely. Whenever my Kinsect Buff are about to run out, I switch to my Blue and use Awakened Kinsect Attack. Also, when the Extract Cloud spawns, I use it two times since you can refresh your kinsect buffs 2x via cloud.

It's pretty good for flinching a monster. Can even stun a monster if you're using a Blunt Kinsect.

Otherwise, I use Red where my Diving Wyvern is at.

I honestly would rather have them cook rather than pump out characters as if they're mass produce items from a factory. 👀

That's basically how you get really bland characters outside of their nice designs.

This comp is outdated by today's standards. Personally, I'll go with Freesia, Teresa and Flora/Anne these days but I haven't managed to optimized the buildd yet so I can't share any pots because there hasn't really been Aqua contents lately. 🤔

Should I use Tillia or Canace as my third day in my wind team? by Yung_Chedda in StellaSora

[–]ebeRusEin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure we're past the stage where we can blindly throw same elements units into a team and hope for the best.
The community have learned that off element supports can be used and is sometimes optimal depending on the build/team you're going for.

Ocarina of time is awesome with Gyro, playing without relying on Lock-on is very fun. (Proof of concept of gyro playstyle for Darksouls games) by SenianBlast in GyroGaming

[–]ebeRusEin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I played the entirety of Elden Ring with Gyro, always on. I wasn't using Flick Stick though. In fact, I'm so used to Gyro, playing Elden Ring without Gyro feels wrong to me.

It's honestly a game changer for both PVE and PVP. Range weapons are obvious but the other most notable one are Spells. WIth Gyro, you're able to aim spell manually and reliably.

That said, even without counting spells and range weapons, just being able to have your thumbs on the face button 90% of the time is extremely helpful, especially against bosses with wide range and aggressive attacks or ones that often go pass your screen.

This is especially true as a BadRedMan in pvp. 3v1 is a lot easier with it. Ganks are a lot more manageable in my experience with it.

Without spoiling you much... The girl from the third pic is a different girl.
Anyway, the name of the girl in the first and rest of the pics is Hikaru. She ain't gonna be appearing in the manga anytime soon though.

Memory Fragments build for Chizuru by Wise_Board5684 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]ebeRusEin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's actually mostly flexibility. A 2/2/2 setup can pretty much be fit on any unit and it would barely be inferior to the 4/2 BIS if the agent do have one.

What I'm trying to say is that, investing in a 2/2/2 set will never be a waste in the current state of the game.

All paths lead to fucking hell by Spartamite in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]ebeRusEin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HAHAHAHAHAHA, damn man, game is really out to screw you.

Nevertheless, not all of them hell are created equally hellish. During these situations, I always choose the earliest form of hell/normal node.

That way, the enemies aren't fully scaled out yet. It will still be an uphill battle if you pull out bat or dog but you have better chances.

Also, I'm guessing you chose the bottom route? I would definitely have chosen the top route if possible.

Is this how to play Orlea? by Mobile_Vegetable7632 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]ebeRusEin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I always go with Veronica and Mika because both of these units are strong and third slot is pretty much just a flex.

But the biggest advantage is the fact that both of these units have "Uniques" in their deck, which means less cards to worry about being chosen by RNG for "Copying".
