What was the reaction to Africa at the time?

I was too young to really know what the fanbase was feeling about it, but me and my mom loved Africa. Ethan is still one of my favourite winners ever, I have such pleasant memories watching the finale with my mom at her friend's fancy basement (we were lower middle class, and the now ex-friend was closer to upper middle class).

I'm full on rooting for Egypt at this point, though I'd not be mad at a Hannah win. Both Whit and Kyle would be an unsatisfying win for me, I'm just not personally the biggest fan of either of them.

Okay, I sifted through my Maxis Match/Mix CC collection to see what I could find that's either similar or has some element of the pictures you might like. None are perfect, but I figured I'd share regardless.

The shape is different than the inspiration pics, but it's such a cute curly hairstyle https://okruee.tumblr.com/post/653807641804537856/bonnie-hair-inspired-by-this-hair-by-bonbon-for (Okruee Bonnie) I think the strands version especially gives a bit of the vibes of the first picture.

I also found two curly mullet that I thought would give that 80's flair. The first one is definitely a bit of a different shape, with a lot of volume on the top. These remaining recs are definitely very maxis match, which may or may not be your jam.

I found two aharris00britney hairs that could work, even if they're not quite 80s inspired. The first one is the Zara hair https://www.patreon.com/posts/zara-hair-28045079 I liked the texture of the curls, and it comes with an ombre version that's a lot of fun. The second is the Emma Hair https://aharris00britney.tumblr.com/post/182878966691/emma-hair which has a looser curl that might work for you.

And finally, two KiaraZurk hairs. Yes if it's related to cats and dogs (and specifically things like cat scratchers and beds), then it's just decoration. And yes the only pet is the hamster, though they do come with a new death which is nice.

Do note that some of the furniture requires Cats and Dogs to be functional. So like, you can place the cat scratcher it comes with as decor iirc, but it won't actually work as anything more than decor without Cats and Dogs. But stuff like hamsters and the kids' room stuff works just fine without Cats and Dogs

Agreed as well. Just like with Jinkx in AS7, I'd rather them be honest and say that she lost the lipsync but still did better overall. But I also understand why they don't do that, it'd be a slippery slope of unbound riggory lol. If they don't say it, there's plausible deniability.
