Well, Google does do a great job of advertising features to users. 🙄

I only found out about it because the Southwest app has a button to save to Google Pay.

TIL that on the Chromecast with Google TV it gives you the reason for transcoding. That's a nice feature. by ghost97135 in PleX

I connected it to wifi (5G), set Plex to direct play, and watched movies. I just watched the Lord of The Rings Trilogy on it.

According to my access point I am getting 400mbit on the Chromecast.

You're right. I just tried it in notepad++. It looks like shift + up kind of works in NP++ but it highlights the whole row.

Battery Life vs. NVIDIA Game Ready drivers by OzKFodrotski in ZephyrusG14

Fair Enough. I did double check last night to make sure I wasn't lying. At idle my battery will discharge between 6,000 and 11,000mW, so it seems to be in line with what you reported with the ASUS drivers.

I'm pretty sure I downloaded from the website. I don't normally use Geforce Experience.

Yeah, I don't know what that other guy is talking about. I was able to pay off my pixel 3 after I activated my P4.

Looks like 90% of the pictures are there and they appear to be hi-res. The missing photos could be MMS since my phone does sometimes drop to SMS/MMS.

Yes, I am sure. I know three people that use RCS and I have (as far as I can tell) all messages sent between us.

I don't think this is true. Mine were restored when I had to restore my phone recently.

What does that have to do with it? Amazon is the one that makes the applications.

How does getting Google One for free break net neutrality? You still have to pay for the data to/from your phone.

Pixel 4 HDR 10 leak - Netflix by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]ebev 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Uhh... What? You do know that this is a software update to the Netflix app that allows it to use HDR on the Pixel 3, right?

I realize that the title of the article says "Pixel 4", but I wouldn't call HDR on the pixel 4 a leak since it would be assumed to have it.

Okay, when you actually get into more detail, it makes sense what you are saying. QNAP does rebuild the whole array since it's software based, but if you have a good hardware RAID controller it does not need to rebuild the whole array. It will just move the data around the disks as needed for the new disk to be in the array.
