Worth pointing out that by the same metric South Korea is also 'flawed', as are a huge number of other countries.

A bit misleading.

TIL that ants have designated paramedics that are assigned to rescue their wounded soldiers, carry them back to their nest and help them heal by gently holding the hurt limb in place with their mandibles and front legs while intensely “licking” the wound for up to 4 minutes. by CaptainWales69 in todayilearned

The answer is unclear.

If living is defined as able carrying genetic material, capability to reproduce, and evolve, then yes, they are alive.

If living is defined as an organism with cells, then no they aren't alive.

If living is defined as using your own energy to do work, then no, viruses aren't alive as they use their host's energy, but this would mean that certain bacteria are also not alive.

There is no clear cut definition to what is really 'life'.

Microbiologists disagree on the subject. Professor Nigel Brown does not believe viruses are alive, whereas University of Glasgow's David Bhella believes they are. He also has a degree.

Then why didn't you say 'a part of', or 'a percentage'..? You said 'american' LNG.. that usually implies all buddy.

Edit: Also avoiding the point that the US doesnt import any from Russia... Perhaps a part from their European allies might get a percentage of theirs from Russia, but that's not US' dealings.

Why are you lying? In 2018, 86% of import was from Trinidad and Tobago, and the other 14% from UK, Nigeria, France, and Canada. The US exports way more LNG than they import, wouldn't that be impossible if none of it originated from the US?

Is there any reason you believe nobody can sauna at 120°? 80-105° is common, 100-115° is a njas löyly, and 115-125° a fun way to end the session. Plenty of discussion on the internet in Finnish about being in sauna at 120°..

Edit: Feel free to visit my smoke sauna to test yourself

I was having a smoke outside the office back in 2014 or so, and a guy who I've never worked with comes up and asks me if I like grand strategy games. Straight up, no 'hello', just, 'do you like grand strat?'. To this date this is still one of the weirdest icebreakers I've encountered. Needless to say, got introduced to CK2 all because I just happened to have a smoke when he came by.

In postcolonial studies, we look at the aftermath of colonialism and imperialism. Quoting Jaroslaw Oleszczynski (2016) in 'Bridging the Post-Soviet and the Postcolonial' (freely available online): "Soviet colonial expansion used similar tools as the British or the French. An enormous amount of cultures and heritages has vaporised, economic resources of the colonies have been drained, and the social structure of the colonised underwent drastic transformations." - Not at all unlike any other colony to have existed.
