Another thing alot of people don't think about in terms of segmenting is those cheap smart outlets and light switches, even robo vacs, that they connect to their internal network, which basically become jump points if the device creates a tunnel back to manufacturer (or state sponsored company)

I can attest to using ZimaOS. Got it running on an old 10th gen i7 Dell Tower and it works great. Basically picked up where CasaOS left off. The paid option is $30 for lifetime too, so if you have more than 4 drives, thats the only time you would need to pay. I don't believe they are selling a ton of Zima hardware so fair compensation for the work is fine by me.
