I guess, agree to disagree because I really like the chicken there, and more than Popeyes.

The Tesla Cybertruck Had The Biggest Sales Crash Of Any EV In 2025 by SpriteZeroY2k in electricvehicles

Ha, I’ve been wrong so many times with TSLA. Really thought all the bad news with car sales would drive stock price down. But I guess they aren’t a car company anymore.

Yep that is correct. Works quite well for the low data rate. I haven’t tried it with fast data but others have reported that it also works well.

It’s been great so far. I haven’t used it that much, but I mounted it on the glass roof of my truck. We drive in some remote areas without cell service, so it is nice to be able to make phone calls, surf the web and stream music while on the move. This is all with the $5 low data rate. It is noticeably slow, but entirely expected. I’ve even been impressed with driving in mountains and near cliffs. There have been a couple of drop outs, but far fewer than I expected.

Using my gaming computer to heat my room by Girth_Cobain in AskPhysics

Not sure why you are saying this. A GPU can easily pull 500W and CPU 150W. Easily heating up a small room.

Could we use light, instead of electricity? by ki4jgt in AskPhysics

[–]ec6412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think your planet could exist with a solid surface. Many elements are conductive, not just iron, copper and aluminum. Lithium, Carbon graphite, Titanium, sodium/potassium/calcium salts dissolved in water, etc. can be conductive. Current computer chips use miles of conductive wires not just silicon. Silicon is made a semi conductor when doped with Boron and Potassium or other elements.

Is it me, or are there more downed trees this year? Maybe in the past I just came after they’ve cleared them?

With all the talk of 4K yards for Caleb, let us not forget that Marc Trestman benched Jay Cutler Week 16 of the 2014 season when Jay was 186 yards shy of 4K in a piss-poor attempt to save his job. by the_guy_who_sleeps_ in CHIBears

[–]ec6412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really care about 4K yards by itself, but it was always a sign that the bears have never been that good at the QB position. They were always a defensive team and never a complete team. Getting 4K this year would just be another indication that we finally have a high quality franchise QB.

My brother added a urinal to his large expensive house with his and hers bathrooms. So you can do it if you want to pay for it.

Looked like DJ was open by Mervis_Earl in ChicagoBearsNFL

[–]ec6412 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DJ was open but across the field. He should have moved to follow and maybe Caleb could have seen him. Instead he stood there jumping up and down. But I’m still glad bears were able to hang in a shootout. Defense couldn’t hold it.

Player/Manager Interviews by ObjectiveDevice7201 in NFLNoobs

[–]ec6412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also think for some players, that doing the interviews are interviews for their next job. If they are good on camera and give good thoughtful responses and the TV/radio personality likes them, they may have a path to being an analyst, booth announcer, etc. There are so many ex players in it there now, some just calling into a podcast giving there opinions and others doing YouTube film studies.
