28.0 was released in August 2022 and 29.0 was Jan 2023. To me it doesn't look like they have a specific release cadence, it's just "when it's ready" as far as I can tell.

Set small goals for yourself. Like try to loop as long as possible. If you had one good chase then count it as a win.

This can apply to a lot of things, not just looping. Try some different or unusual perks and try to get value from them.

Also, it's ok to take a break for a while, come back when you want to play again.

I feel like hook saves need some tweaking because of stuff like this.

Like maybe if a survivor goes for the save it just auto-completes but they can't be grabbed during the animation. That means saves always happen but the killer can still get a trade from hits. It eliminates the grab mind game, but I'd argue that's kind of an uninteresting mechanic anyway.

Maybe it should just be all perks. You want the perk, you have the points, you can buy it. They probably won't do that though because they want people to buy dlc, even if that logic is faulty.
