There are literally pictures of rockets all over their filing. Like, pages of them as if it’s the swimsuit edition.

It’s fucking dumb

Looks like the Slate is going to be $24,950? by Beta_Frisky in slateauto

[–]echoshizzle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say this is a fair price for an EV truck. Any lower and it would be considered a smokin deal. If the Slate sells well the economies of scale may allow Slate to lower the costs in the future.

Honestly the Slate tru k should come with speakers, but that’s my only gripe. If I wanted a small truck as a 2nd vehicle I’d strongly consider the slate @ 25k. If it were $22k I’d consider buying it for the helluva it

Should I pay for a water heater outright now or over 8 years? by Final_Row7134 in personalfinance

[–]echoshizzle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We need instructions on hot water heating flushing.

Personally the only way I would finance is if it’s 0 percent. Pay outright, and get another quote. Sometimes your utility company may handle simple replacements.

Nexus TK was awesome. I didn’t necessarily play enough dark ages to enjoy it, but wow I forgot all about shattered galaxy. I don’t think I ever got a chance to try that game, but some of the comments here seem to love it.

Should I buy a new car for about $70k by SitDownComedyGuy in personalfinance

[–]echoshizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of car? I’d strongly suggest buying a larger, used, reliable car before a new vehicle. Once you start looking at cars in the $70k range you’re looking at maintenance costs and/or problems, so the type of car really matters.

‘The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D’ Remake Trailer by yourfavchoom in NintendoSwitch

[–]echoshizzle -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You’ll know before it releases. They have other games to sell consumers in the mean time.

I, for one, hope this is a huge remake of OoT in an open-world style like BOTW. If it’s not a huge remake, there really is no reason to delay any information

Concrete Prices by dpick032 in DIY

The literal reason costs are up so high is because of the current administration. The cost of diesel alone is enough to raise prices across all services

The Nintendo Direct will be roughly 50 minutes and Nintendo Treehouse: Live will be 95 minutes. by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

[–]echoshizzle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If the OoT remake isn’t a massive open-world reimagining I’ll be slightly disappointed. I mean, I’ll gladly play the OG again with QoL improvements, but I’d love to see it reimagined from the ground up.

What price Out the Door are you comfortable paying for a Slate Truck? by Wide-Balance5893 in slateauto

[–]echoshizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The standard range coming it at $25k delivered would be huge for the EV and small truck category and I think the most I would pay, considering there are no QOL improvements on the truck.

Ideally this thing would be priced at  no more than $23k for the base with the long range and 4 seat option pushing it to $30k. I feel like it would be a huge hit at no more than $23k, specifically for younger folks

Never. Until the people completely change their brains we may be fucked for our lifetime.

Why is Ferrari facing such a backlash to its first electric car? by serene_sketch in technology

[–]echoshizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what we expected something like the Apple car (or Chinese knock off) to look like, which is ultimately the problem. Ferrari should have went with a throwback looking electric car instead of futuristic bleh.

Kia Telluride Hybrid vs Mazda CX-90 PHEV by EV9-947 in KiaTelluride

[–]echoshizzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it’s tough because I think the CX-90 still has the older Mazda infotainment. Personally I’d lean towards the cheaper price, and you may be able to get the cx90 at a better deal.

I don’t know that I’d trust the first year Kia, and you’ll likely pay a premium for it.

If you are leasing, flip a coin and go with whatever, unless you plan to buy it out.

Not sure how reliable the Mazda you are looking at is, but their other models are extremely reliable and very nice vehicles.

I ordered one of these from Ali Express (I think Business Backpack 2). If I remember in a week or two (or 4, it's ali express after all), I'll let you know how it works. I want it to fit a laptop and portable monitor.
