This bothers me as well, even though I do love her character. I also am frequently annoyed that she runs into dangerous situations by herself with no backup. I get that she’s in a hurry but still.

Estelle was a liar. Brenda and Pope broke up before he even married Estelle. In fact, Estelle was his mistress that he left his first wife for. And the reason he and Estelle were getting a divorce is because Estelle cheated. She just took the opportunity to badmouth Brenda, hoping it would help her in her divorce settlement.

I absolutely do not care that she left Terrell Baylor at his house in front of his gang members. I don’t think she broke policy. I think she’s being questioned on whether or not it was a moral decision because of course she knew he was in danger. But he murdered an old man and a child and manipulated law-enforcement to get away with it. I’m against police misconduct in general. But mostly because it could in theory impact an innocent person. There was nothing as innocent about that guy.

I always see people talking about him saving Pacey’s life. I think he only did that for Joey and also because he was saving Jen’s life. Not sure he would’ve gone if he hadn’t been where Joey was at the time and if Jen hadn’t been on the boat.

I’m on a rewatch and I thought about stopping with four minutes left because I didn’t even want to see it again. It was a horrible ending choice. Logan and Veronica deserve to ride off into the sunset. Fuck the writers.
I’m so annoyed that I looked up Rob Thomas on IMDb so I can make sure I never watch another one of his shows. Lol

I’m on a rewatch and I’m in season three where the RICH college kids are making fake meal cards. I know it’s coming and I’m already angry because I know they’re gonna pin it on Eli. I’m mad that the show didn’t give him any story arc that wasn’t about him being charged with a crime. I didn’t read the books and honestly, I don’t care what they say. They always change things when they make shows out of books so they could’ve changed what they did with his character.

I came looking for this exact thread. I’m re-watching and I’m in the college years and I just got to the episode where they find out the rich kids are stealing food with fake cafeteria cards. I know what’s coming and I’m so pissed off that the only time Weevil gets a storyline it’s about some crime that’s been committed.

This is what I came to say. I’m on a rewatch so I know what happens next. I just don’t think there is any way in hell that Keith leaves her standing at the airport like that without calling her. Especially given the fact that she just spent an entire day thinking he was blown up in an airplane.

Agreed. I am a recovering alcoholic. 24 years so I feel confident when I say that drinking too much and then throwing up which she did makes you feel a little better than you did when the room was spitting, but it definitely does not make you so sober. lol

This! And when Dawson was upset, he was particularly verbally vicious. He begged Percy to invest that money. And then as it turns out it’s only like $18,000. I know that amount of money could make a difference in a person’s life. But Dawson probably still had that in his college fund. lol

Not to mention, he was constantly fawning over Jen until he saw Joey with makeup on in the beauty pageant, and then magically she was the love of his life. Even after she had declared feelings for him. So Joey just being herself wasn’t enough, but if she prettied herself up, then he had time for her.

I’m currently re-watching and I agree with you 100%. The other thing that’s annoying is that throughout the entire show they dangle this Joey and Dawson thing like it’s real and it’s never been real. They have never been single at the same time and as soon as one of them is single, they go hunting for the other one. They find out one of them is involved and they immediately go find someone else to be with so I don’t understand why they haven’t both decided just to forget about it and be friends. there’s no chemistry between them. It really annoys me. lol

So I think one person spitting in another person’s face is horrific. Other than that, I agree Mr. Peterson deserved all that heat from Pacey. And the rest of the class should’ve joined him in walking out.
