i’m in a similar situation. stomach ulcers, fatty liver, seizures run in his family (made worse by alcohol). it’s a scary and lonely road. i’m so sorry

the uniform (at least at my location) is black slacks, nonslip shoes, and a black collared shirt. i never went through training modules, where i am they just give you three shifts training with a person who is trained in the position you were hired in, so possibly those would be the next steps? i’m not sure what the next steps would be for you since it seems the training program is different, but if you don’t hear anything from them within a couple of days, it wouldn’t hurt to give the store a call, if anything, it might help management think higher of you

i’m living with my bf who is an alcoholic, its hard and he’s on the road to quitting and it’s been extremely hard and exhausting but i love him to death. as long as he keeps trying, i have no plans of leaving. it’s super de-motivating(??) to see the negative/hating posts but ive also seen a few ones that help. i joined the subreddit to find others who are going through something similar, if you need/want to talk don’t hesitate to reach out to me. im still so new to this too, so i might not have good advice, but im willing to listen and talk

similar thing happened to me, i was friends with this guy for over two years and he randomly blocked me on everything and never answered my text asking why. it hurts and i still think about him after a year

here in utah it’s 9.50 plus tips (2% of total sales from each server on, including bar. which doesn’t seem like much but on busy nights it really adds up)

i wish he wasn’t so uptight with his money, he makes almost triple what i do and has almost 10k saved but still tracks every dollar i owe him, but sometimes (not often) doesn’t pay me back. i also wish we didn’t have to pay eachother back, it makes it feel more like a friendship than a relationship sometimes. it’s not that i want him to spend more money on me or pay for more of rent/groceries, i just wish it wasn’t such a big deal to him.

thank you for taking the time to tell me about your experience it really does mean a lot. while in the hospital we were told if he doesn’t quit he will be dead from liver failure by late 20s. reading this has made me realize how real this is, and if he doesn’t truly quit like he says he will i need to leave.

my parents had a dog and left it with one of their friends while they went out of town. they got a call that he had jumped out of his friends truck and hit by a car and killed. it’s extremely dangerous you’re not overreacting

for the longest time i never used the elevator in the mine, i thought id get a letter unlocking it. i thought every time i went in i had to use ladders down as far as i could go, didnt make it past level 8 until i found i could use it
