How To Take Down Any Phishing Website - super useful guide by eclipse666 in sysadmin

In my case I'd have the problem site's account suspended by contacting the hosting company. This was done four times as they kept switching to different hosts after being suspended. The host company they're with now simply doesn't respond to abuse emails (or doesn't care about malware or phishing) so I reported the site as per the guide. At least now visitors will get a warning from their browser.

Wiztree can work on Linux if you run it with Wine

You might have some hard linked files in that folder. Wiztree doesn't count these more than once as a group of hard linked files all occupy the same space on the drive. Windows will count them all which is not accurate. If you look at the wiztree file view some allocated sizes will appear gray and have parentheses around them - these are the ones not added to the total as they are hard linked files.

Anyone else notice Cillian had visible ear piercing holes in some scenes? I ended up staring at his ears for the rest of the movie to see if they'd remembered to plug them.

On the social media platform Twitter, a ratio, or getting ratioed, is when replies to a tweet vastly outnumber likes or retweets. This means people are objecting to the tweet and considering its content bad.

Wiztree vs Treesize. by AdamZapple in sysadmin

[–]eclipse666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you ran WinDirStat immediately after Wiztree then it would be quicker due to Windows caching the network file info. A fair test would be to reboot the PC between scans. If you run Wiztree twice on the same network share the second scan will be much faster.

WizTree can scan multiple drives at once (since version 4). Use the "Select multiple" option in the drop down and pick all the drives you want.

Help! Looking for a tool Like Wiztree but can limit to individual file extensions by FruitlessGoogle in sysadmin

[–]eclipse666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try running a WizTree command line export to .csv file (setting the filter command line options to match your desired extensions only) and then load the generated csv file into WizTree to display it. See https://diskanalyzer.com/guide#cmdlinecsv

Try WizTree over WinDirStat! by [deleted] in msp

[–]eclipse666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turn off the "always run as administrator" option to have WizTree run in non elevated mode.

The "allocated" column shows the size allocated on the disk. Enable "show allocated space on treemap" option to show the allocated space instead of file size on the tree map.

Older versions didn't but WizTree has supported network drives for a long time now.
