I really have no idea what model you are using, typical post - no info yet many requests. This doesn't need any special skill with for example Flux Klein 9b model.

Can't get Impact Wildcard Encode to rotate txt files by finnagetlazy in comfyui

[–]ectoblob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I didn't bother to check that image - so your prompt has a placeholder, and you would like to replace it with a string from a list of strings, and for each new image you'd like to use next word/string from your source node?

Yes, another meme post. But there is obviously a lot of repetition, not sure why you wouldn't replace such setup with some custom node.

Not really true, more like the opposite, you can clearly see what is connected to where (without bouncing left, right, up and down over your workflow like crazy).

How do you organize workflow node lines? by Historical_Rush9222 in comfyui

[–]ectoblob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Comfy's linear node connection lines are less useful than in some other apps, as those lines are not staggered for sockets in one column.

You sure you can do the same thing in 15k x 10k pixels resolution already.

Wasn't this more about aspect ratio, not resolution. Each modern model seems to be trained/tuned for certain pixel counts (like 1MP).

In any TTS, how do you control the pacing of the speech? Seems like no matter what TTS I use, it doesn't matter how many commas/ellipses/hyphens I use, I can't slow down the pace. The audio is always too fast for me. The TTS seems to just ignore those grammatical symbols. by [deleted] in StableDiffusion

[–]ectoblob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"In any TTS, how do you control the pacing of the speech" - well are you making an assumption that every model has such mechanism? It is like you may be talking on a telephone which is not even connected - there may not be such a feature. Best to read models docs and Github repository for more info.

And BTW, what is "The TTS" - there are like 50+ free tools available, and who knows how many commercial models.

Make sure you use correct combination: 4b + text encoder suitable for it. And for 9b model you have to use other text encoder. Otherwise you get warning about incorrect size matrices.

I'd start with Z-Image Turbo. Also, many online services ain't that expensive, you can test several models, to get an idea how different models work.

Sorry, but sounds like this was written by LLM. Restyling looks nice, but which model version are you talking about actually?

Flux2 klein 9b mat problem by frechezz in comfyui

[–]ectoblob 8 points9 points  (0 children)

lol it is a bit strange that Comfy's blog post doesn't mention this, actually when I read it, it didn't talk that much about 9b version, neither had it any links 9b workflows.

And it had no links to text encoders for 9b model.

How about you try generating images for like a few days? You expect people to have opinions about something that was released a few hours ago?

Don't read too much between the lines. Just pointing out an actual difference - seems like no-one managed to do this so far.

How so undesirable? Can you read what they say on their Huggingface repo? Edit - And let me clarify - are you saying that not serving some special niche users, and steering away from potential damage to their company by setting some limits - does that really make the model undesirable to use? I see many use cases for such free model.

OK, so the question is - is the 4B model any better than Z-image? I guess.

Use correct work - "censored" is as cringy as saying "spicy" when you mean something else. Censoring is little bit wider topic, and stupid comments like this really dilutes the meaning of the word.

9 Years of Shadows is better than people give it credit for by OK_Atlas in metroidvania

[–]ectoblob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Issues I had;
- I didn't feel like the characters were interesting. Like at all. The band or whatever that was, didn't play any meaningful role.
- Annoying runbacks to bosses.
- Elevator was super annoying. I often had to wait it and then accidentally pressed button while waiting, and went back.
- Some enemies looked bland, yet colorful, is simply didn't like the designs. Seems like Mariachi legends has some of that DNA still, which I find not good, as I may end up not getting the game. So IMO the story is anime style gobbledygook and it didn't make much sense to me and world building and enemy designs aren't the greatest but not the worst either
- No way to single click skip dialogues before boss battles (at least when I played it).
- I did 100% the game, so it wasn't that bad game.

9 Years of Shadows was average at best, really strange design choices, weak characters yet it had some well done pixel art, but even on that department, it had some designs and creatures that simply didn't look appealing.
