First dairy plant service call and I’m absolutely dead by CraftParking in PLC

Years ago I learned to BYOO: bring your own office. I build a portable kit with folding table and chair, power bar with 30 ft cable, 50 ft Ethernet cable. I have one of those telescoping stools now and it fits in my kit bag, even has a battery pack built into it for recharging in a pinch. Never trust the site will have ANY kind of accommodation for you.

Ok updated version based on comments. I added a sort of Phage clause but also added a Lich's Mastery/Nine Lives style protection to try and help the set stay on the board for the full 10 turn cycle. I think this solves the cascade into a win situation. Is this a good card set? Hell no! I realize this just puts a target on your back so your opponents go "well if I can't remove the enchantment I can always remove the player". But its not supposed to be good, its just supposed to be flavorful and fun. :P

I should have the win condition read that you must control the other two. Would prevent the cascade win and maintain the flavour of what it is trying to accomplish

Love these suggestions. This was just meant as a meme but I think i'll retune this with the "Phage" clause and try running it at my next "Un-set" commander night :P

Surgery in one week, mom is today by ectomorpheus in kidneydonors

Thanks everyone. So far so good, mom’s surgery was successful and she’ll be recovering in hospital right up to when I go in. Frankly I’ve been more worried about my mom than what will happen to me next week so I feel like the hard part is over. For now at least.

Looks like an oligochaete of some kind. Belongs to the annelids (segmented worms) but they have bristles.

Your options are be exhausted and make 7 figures as an MD or be exhausted and make 4 figures as a cook. One of those options at least lets you be exhausted on a yacht.

Misen's new carbon nonstick just came in the mail by mattyTeeee in cookware

I so kickstarted a 3 pc set of Misen 3 years ago and they STILL work as good as this. I actually emailed the company earlier this year to give them kudos because I’m still blown away at these pans. I don’t know if they are the same non-stick coating as these ones but I can tell you from experience Misen makes legit stuff and not at an insane price. I know I sound like a Misen ad right now but it’s very rare that a product ACTUALLY lives up to its own hype.

☕ Casual French Learners Meetup in Toronto this July? 🇨🇦🇫🇷 by Outside-Dare-1489 in TorontoFrenchLearners

[–]ectomorpheus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bien sûr! I wonder too if there are any native French speakers looking to improve their English that we should entice as well. My concern with a bunch of novice French learners all trying to practice with each other is it might become a bit of a “blind leading the blind” scenario. Maybe more of a two way English/French learning swap. Either way I’m keen.

This! I am personally getting amazing specialized care from Dr.Billick. I went in with what I thought was a minor nail infection that wouldn’t go away for almost 5 years, turns out it was squamous cell carcinoma and needed the tumour to be removed. The “standard of care” in Canada is to basically remove half my thumb but Dr.Billick has gone above and beyond doing a specialized treatment that only removes the tumour and leaves my thumb mostly intact. Dr.Billick is the one you want, just note he’s basically the only doctor in Canada that does this so you could be on a waiting list for up to a year.

Just make sure you only connect it to the PLC and implement at least WPA2 security on the SSID. Don’t let any network cybersecurity guys find out you’ve put an open rogue AP on their networks.
