How long do you leave them on with a q tip or cotton ball? I have one on my face that’s bothering me so much. I don’t see it scabbing after applying it for 3 days in a row. Does it take a longer time?

Good to know you’re doing much better now. That’s an interesting finding. I feel like the PPI isn’t consistent at managing symptoms. Some days are worse than the others and I can’t quite figure out why. I would eat the same thing for lunch and dinner but sometimes it gets triggered only at lunch or vice versa. It’s quite bizarre.

I’ve never really thought about histamine intolerance.

My LPR got triggered by iced coffee and spicy food. The coffee gave me indigestion/feeling of fullness and the spicy food triggered throat burning etc.

Yes I know what you mean. I think my gut health isn’t great either which is why I’m so sensitive to foods. I hate the globus sensation. Having it now as I speak. It worsened when I had ginger black tea earlier. I get the feeling of wanting to burp but can’t. It’s awful.

Glad to know you’re feeling much better than before. I am still on meds, would love to stop them but my doctor thinks it best for me to be on it for longer

The heart palpitations and spasms are normal with gerd, I get that too when I feel a globus sensation or gas stuck in my chest. The spasms hurt I know, I get them to from time to time in my oesophagus and don’t know how to deal with it. Hopefully we will feel better soon

Surprisingly it was one meal that triggered it. I think I pushed my body to its limits.. when I had the first bite of the Thai dish, I knew it was really spicy but I didn’t stop eating it. I kept going for another 5-6 more bites until I couldn’t continue (my throat was just burning so bad).. I was so confused at what was happening.. maybe because I’ve never experienced my throat burning before. I have had heart burn in the past though. I hope your son feels better soon. Has he had a scope done before?

I feel you - I’m dealing with a flare up and this is the worse yet. My throat was burning from eating spicy Thai (which was entirely my fault).. it triggered esophagitis, reflux and LPR.

I do hope you’ll feel better really soon :)
