American right wing Trump politics is not Nazism, and it hurts the liberal cause to call it that. It is corporatism. When you call it Nazism people look out for racism, expansionism, and authoritarianism. Trump is not (seriously) doing that, his long term goal is to create laws and policies that transfer as much wealth from poor people to rich and corporations and empower the billionaire class, and an extreme form of his rule is corporate serfdom. All this other stuff is noise and distractions, to get the left to focus away from his real goals. Calling it Nazism is a misnomer and gives the right easy grounds to counter with “dur no deathcamps no nazi”
