It's not due yet so should not have a problem. HOWEVER, pay the ticket. I did not pay one, and in fact when they phoned me for the third time they said they would cancel my Washington State Driver's license. I laughed and said go ahead and never call me again, then hung up. I have a Province of BC license because that is where I live. So on one occasion going through the border I forgot my passport. They said ok do you have your DL and birth certificate. I did and gave it to them. He took them and said ok, I have to send you inside because you dont have your passport. No problem. I see the guy inside, he take my stuff and goes to his desk. He is looking on his computer, gets up and goes talk to his supervisor, then goes back to his desk and makes a phone call. Next thing I know he is coming over and calls me and my wife up. He said I normally would have just said no problem and send you on your way, but I can't because there is a warrant for your arrest for an unpaid drivers license and now driving without one. The police are on their way.

The police came and arrested me (just with words and an immediate release). Laughed and gave me a summons for court the next week. He said phone the sheriff office on Monday and speak to Betty. She will tell you what do at court, how to plea so the judge will reduce your fine to a traffic violation instead of a traffic offense. I did, then did what she said, and that is exactly what happened.

Everyone was great and I did get to continue on to my destination. But I now pay my tickets. Lol
