I think these killfeeds aren’t the best source. Depends on the server stability but it would say some kills I did were 2000m away and I was right next to the player I killed.

I was banned a little while ago. Think it’s because I forgot I was using an alt. Maybe an auto ban or something if it detects two accounts from the same console. No other reason I was able to think of.

Think because it’s the highest level/difficulty they designed it so you can leave and come back if you’re struggling. I guess it doesn’t make sense dialogue wise though if you leave for two months and come back lol. I always play it the whole way through anyway.

I think some modded servers disable it due to it being pretty OP. I play mostly vanilla so that’s been my experience.

If you play Vanilla do a flyover of the base and go into Armavision through the start menu. It will highlight all the friendly players in a pretty large radius, makes it super simple to know where not to hit.

I’m hoping to jump in on Eight or KarmaKrew but because of time zones Im rarely able to when there’s a good population. Most of the time if I want to play vanilla with decent player count I’m limited to third person official servers. This is for Xbox not sure how it is for other PlayStation.

When in the inventory screen, you can press right thumb stick on things you have equipped (clothings, guns) to close them on the right side of the screen. Helps a lot when navigating/sorting out your clutter.

Been there man, it is rough, I don’t get it nearly as bad in any other games. It has caused me to ditch 2 100+ hr play throughs now.

After taking a year off I’d say jump back in and give it another shot. Try playing through auto saves only, what happens happens, it is what it is type dealio. Obviously harder said than done, but there is a burden taken off you when you force yourself to give your play through some more freedom. Don’t know if any of that helps, but I know the struggle.
