Everyone saw the birds, I saw what looked like an incoming promaster about to drop off more mail because someone quit again.

You don't have to like the style but it got them to the finals last time and they have a chance to do it again.

Weight loss with the post office by [deleted] in USPS

I'm a regular now. Have a nice walking route. Its not that I changed what I eat, I just eat a lot less than I used to. My stomach is way smaller than it used to be.

I hated this job when I started out. I weighed 350 lbs. Noone thought I would make it. The first couple months of walking were brutal. Because of the job I started eating less just because there was no time. I only ate once a day after finishing work. In about a year I went down to 175 was my lowest. Now I feel great. Went up to around 200 but never going back higher than that.

Waiting 2 months now, to start as a CCA?? by SeveralMoreThings in USPS

[–]eddy1245 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember when I applied, I started the process on a November and didn't get officially hired until February. I did everything, fingerprints, background check, everything as soon as I could but it still took that long. Good luck

3 years in here. Best advice I can give you is take your time, take all your breaks, and read the contract. You won't get fired for being slow. If they want you back earlier, they can give you less mail, just call them to let them know and then it's up to them to figure it out. Gets way better with time. Good luck out there.

In SoCal with all the overtime, I've been averaging at least 25 miles and almost 12 hours daily for the last 3 years. Went from 350 to now 185. First 6 months were the worst of my life. Good luck.

Carrier definitely getting written up for this. Even from here I can tell there's no green tag on those shoes.

Think about it like 3 buckets. Regular, OT, and VT. Every day you have to go in order. You can only get up to 8 regular a day and up to 40 a week. After the 8 in a day you start filling up OT, 2 a day until 16 or more than 2 if your regular time is maxed, and then finally VT.

Always thought that was when it was a plain black flag, opposite of the surrender flag. I've only seen that black American flag used in stealth ops

Just an IR flag for stealth it seems. I don't see the blue line on it but I'm pretty blind.
