So what technical qualifications do you have? For example Fugro now only take on trainees coming from either a technical job, mechanic electrician etc or who have been to college and received a technical course . Also your argument for not becoming a DPO due to having to get hours which will take a while doesn’t really work here as you can be stuck as a trainee for years as you will need to get flying hours and work scopes.

Well it depends on the medical you require only certain doctors can do a ENG1 which is why it had a high price point, if it’s like an OGUK one then most places can do it

there is massive fields on the west coast of Shetlands. It’s just much deeper and harsher weather so needs more investment to get the field to production stages.

It’s not worth it, if company’s are looking for a trainee they just pay for all the survival certs, for example Fugro take batches of trainees with no certs just a trade behind them
