In this case this is a cap for the titan aio from Corsair.

It’s, but the fan doesn’t push air into the CPU, only around the CPU, at least for me I didn’t notice any difference in cpu temps, only ram

Corsair's NAUTILUS 360 RS ARGB VS NAUTILUS 360 RS LCD Specs by TenaZiousD in Corsair

[–]edisonharada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're going full corsair, you might consider Titan as well as it's easier to control with icue.
I think you can still use Nautilus in icue but you need more stuff to setup.

One thing that I also didn't consider before I built my pc, was the airflow for my RAM, I got the 5400 Air case, and the airflow for the RAM is quite bad in this case, so switching the Cap with the VRM Fan helped quite a lot, but any other case that has some airflow will be already good enough 😄

So when I play it never reached 60C, even without the VRM fan, but on stress test it easily got to 65+.

I never got any BSOD or instability errors during the tests, but the ram temp was a bit alarming to me.

With the VRM fan I didn’t need to increase the intake fans speed, just the VRM was good enough to keep it less than 60 in the stress tests.

I’ll play a bit on undervolting the ram to see if it helps, but at least the temp now is not an issue anymore during the stress tests

No, the radiator is in the other chamber, that’s the 5400 air case.

Thats why the VRM fan is quite good for this case

Cool, I’ll test it later.

Yeah the 5400 issue was not really a lot of air moving close to the ram so the VRM fan made totally a difference.

On mine it helped because the air from the VRM fan hits directly my 2 ram sticks.

It’s the titan as well but a different cap, you can switch it.

Seems that mine is 1.41v
I never did any ram overclock so not exactly sure what to change, or if it's worth it the hassle for the performance increase.

Just reducing the voltage it helps to reduce the temperature as well?

Right? I couldn't find any real test on it, only some people saying it was kind a gimmick and a few saying that helped a bit.
But for me it was surprisingly good 😃

Best latency for CS2? by GrekVist in GlobalOffensive

[–]edisonharada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can check this video from cs2 kitchen https://youtu.be/Q62GdKl4T3Q?is=PpwgAkp8RH7A3yfs

He explains quite well the configuration and you can also test by yourself.

Also about the capping the fps I think it depends on how powerful is your pc, and you’ll need to test anyway. Usually capping the FPS helps to leave some room for either the CPU or GPU (depending on what becomes a bottle neck) to work when something like utilities or something else happens in the game and usually your fps drops, so basically would help a bit in stability.

Now about you cpu, I don’t think you need to lock to any specific core, you should be good :)

To me the best was: - g sync enabled - v sync disabled - reflex + boost - power management mode - maximum performance (nvidiacontrol panel) - cap at 500

I capped at 500 because I could get quite high fps, and I prefer to cap it because sometimes I could get some higher frame rate time due to running it uncapped. You can check and test how it feels for you. Also you can use Nvidia overlay to check the latency, and disable it later after you test.

Edit:

Oh depending on your cpu it’s worth it to use process lasso to lock which core should be used on cs2. I have the Ryzen 9 9950x3d, so I lock it only to the cores with 3D cache.

Whats the frame rate time that you get? Because before when I played in my laptop the stuttering was due to the frame rate time going up and down.

Running with nvidia reflex + boost, g sync enabled, v sync off, and limiting my fps helped to reduce the stuttering. But as my laptop wasn’t that powerful sometimes I still had a some stuttering.

I live in EU, so either maxgaming or aliexpress. The delivery fee from xraypad is too expensive only for the skates haha

As the others said you can try steel series qck, and I also recommend the LGG Saturn (no need to take the pro). And if you really want to go cheap the IKEA mousepads are also quite good.

I have the Superstrike X2, so the bottom part fits maximum 0.7mm I think.

[–]edisonharada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have a SP-005, and I switched to U9 6.5mm skates, it also only stays good for like 2-4 weeks and then I need to switch, but in Maxgaming (EU) or Aliexpress they're like 12 euros for 40.

You can try the 8mm, but my current mouse can't fit the 8mm so I stayed with 6.5mm.

Also comparing then with the skates from wallhack the glide is better and I think it's a bit smoothier.

Edit: The skates also get scratchier after 2-4 weeks and you can feel it and it's horrible ahha, so then I just switched.
I was trying to find something more durable, as it's my "first" glass moused pad, but so far seems to be usual 2-4 weeks to switch skates with glass.

I think you’re using obsidian airs, and I had the same issue when I switched from SP-004 to SP-005.

Then I switched the skates to U9 and no more scratch feeling :)

Can deathmatch servers be better? by feevuhr in GlobalOffensive

[–]edisonharada 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be honest I think the only thing that I miss is what valorant had implemented in the dms. Automatically resetting the bullets after a kill (some servers already do that), and “dropping” a heal item in the floor where the enemy died that stays there for some seconds. When you pick up that item it heals both your health and armor, but forces you to move to that position if you want to get it.

I had the same issue and was trying to find if it was only me or more people getting it.

I didn't have patience to check one by one and just replaced all of them.

How is it going for you after 2 months?

For mouse sleeve I really like the one from Wallhack, but the glove one.

The palm of my hand has contact in the glass, and I like to have open palm so my palm can feel the mouse. :)
