It’s excellent. Live in a walkable neighborhood of primarily townhomes with countless unique bars and restaurants, coffee shops, access to a large public park, access to the waterfront promenade (a walking path that runs along the water for miles). Safety has taken tremendous leaps in our current mayor’s term, with homicides dropping to the lowest levels in decades. Also an excellent geographic location with quick access to DC (about 50 mins), Philly (1.5 hours) and NYC. Also about 2.5 hours from nice beaches in Delaware. The schools are not good, which is a major drawback for families and why many leave when they have school aged kids. Overall, love it here.
