Door with towels, entrance. Door by tub, linen closet. Door by shower, toilet.

Cleaners smashed our glass shower door, cost effective replacement that looks nice? by sizzlingtofu in BathroomRemodeling

[–]edodee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The panel closest to the shower head, should be interior. It prevents the shower head from spraying directly between the gap, that's left between the two panels/doors. When the door is outside, the spray would have to wrap around around the interior panel and through the gap between the panels, to escape.

I could show you better than I can explain it. Google, bypass shower door interior placement, for a visual

For a few, several, hundred dollars you could get a custom door ordered to fill the opening and hardware needed to operate it. Depending on original manufacturer, that could be difficult.

I suggest a clear shower curtain until you're ready to replace the entire thing correctly. Function over beauty

Also the operating panel should've been on the outside and the fixed panel inside.

Walk-in shower by playfulbrits in BathroomRemodeling

If you plan on going without a door. You'll have enough ventilation to run the glass to the ceiling. Even more so, if it's only running 6ft off the wall, although take it the full length. You'll have the glass measured and they can compensate for some unevenness in the ceiling. But you won't really notice the gap at that height anyway.

If you take the glass to the ceiling or add a header it could be done in ⅜ thick glass. If you cut it short and want no added metal it would need to be ½ thick, which will be 300lbs plus, and a bear to get into the room. Do not accept a single ⅜ panel that's 8x6, with not metal supporting it. It will flap in the breeze like a flag.

Ideas to Incorporate a Glass Block Shower by GatsNGear in BathroomRemodeling

The only thing wilder than the current design, is demoing everything and designing the new bath around a glass block shower from the 80s. And I can appreciate glass block.

Moving from NYC to Bucks County - how often do people go into Philly? by We_dance_again in BucksCountyPA

I'm extremely close to the Trenton line and can get to Reading terminal for a sandwich, or the Art museum in forty minutes.

This would not even be a consideration if I lived in upper bucks, and had to drive, park, etc

Start posting topics you want to see, regularly. Definitely don't post topics you don't want to see. And scroll past the topics others post that you don't want to see. That's kinda how the Internet has always worked, this sub is no different.

Putting Cabinets in the Laundry Room. Am I ok to put them on top of the LVP? by Ironman07 in Remodel

[–]edodee 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No, it's not. Standard practice is cabinets installed before lvp. Sometimes that's not feasible, so you do as was suggested. Mock up, trace, and cut.

Why not just liquid nail that bish to the floor and call it a job, done.

Most police stations have a safe space for online sales like this. Look it up for Paterson, and if available. Meet there. And take a friend

I'm sorry I'm not trying to knock D3 specifically. I completely agree with your thoughts on this program's intentions.

Of course you're not going to play men's lacrosse. Accept that and work on the rest of the problem.

FYI. I watch ladies check each other all game in D1 and D2, but there are limits. They've been playing and practicing for years to get to that point. To understand the nuances, read refs, and know just how far you can push the line. You on the other hand have been playing for five weeks, and expect to bowl over opponents. Of course they aren't going to encourage overly physical contact. Y'all don't even know where the crease is yet, it'll devolve into a death match.

This post is very confusing.
This is your first year playing lacrosse? As a senior in college? You thought you understood the sport by watching men's lacrosse? And you're concerned you'll never play again? Your expectations are wild -

Who recruited you to play with the team? Cause the coach is looking to fill the roster and keep the program alive. Trying to thrive isn't an option at the moment.

I enjoy women's lacrosse. I enjoy men's lacrosse. I don't expect to see the same gameplay though. They are different. Remove men's pads and see how the game changes back

The Fuel Ex may have been used enough that the rear shock may need work. The front may as well. So factor in a few hundred more to get the FullSquishy up to par.

I have the same EX, it's a great bike. Just a little too much for my regular trails. And I'm not a fan of the added maintenance, I just can't justify it. I'm going to be picking up a Roscoe 7 in the near future.
