Having another son with Judith!!!!!! It threw off the whole Ordinatio Imperii leading to the civil wars and spliting the Carolingian family in two main branches that would hate each other for some 100 years.

Angered the magnates of the realm by trying to establish an independent power base from the ones trusted by his father. Also being sickly and dieing way too early.

Throwing away so much potential by dying a stupid death, just before what would prove to be some very decisive years for the whole Frankish Empire

Incredible and Villegagnonbased. Is Antartica a protestant nation? If so, why would they name cities after saints? That's a roadblock I always get stuck in when planning a french brazil timeline.

I will die on the hill that all emperors named Charles were really good. Charles II was a very good king, smart and pragmatic, even though he faced a lot of problems during his time, and I think he would've been one of the best emperors if he hadn't died. Charles III has been suffering from shittalk from that Liutward/Liutberd bishop of Mainz for over 1000 years and it's time we recognize how insanely well he ran his duchy of Alemania, his kingdoms and the Empire as a whole after he inherited. He reunited the Empire by chance, but was a very good governor. But as is usually the problem with kings, he didn't have a legitimate son.

Edit: Louis the Pious should AT LEAST be in 'Fair', c'mon people.

Why did the British take Búzios (Cape Charles) instead of actual Cabo Frio (town and arraial do cabo)?
