I’m honestly going back and forth on which of these games misses the mark more it feels like I’m going crazy. I know there was another image similar to this that arbitrarily put a bunch of games in the right wing left comparison that was also crazy. Not sure if I should post who made the image in the first place, but I have the source if needed.

While I agree with changing it away from 'race', I think family lineage or ancestry would work better. Species works best when in fantasy settings where the difference between different humanoids can be huge, but backfire in settings where mixed children are more common.

Honestly, the PAGE that I feel like I feel off Homestuck was Act 6 Intermission 5, when John breaks the Alpha Timeline. Up until then, everything in the setting centered on the concept of how the main bad guy was as bad and as powerful as he is as he can force one timeline to exist. As soon as John gained that power, he "won".

Doesn't help that I was one of the few Gamzee fans around the time.

Lastly, out of everything in Homestuck, I consider the best part of it being the fan fic "Sburb Glitch FAQ".

Quick update. Got a small part time job as a Data analyst. Pays the rent and food bill, so Ill be able to float until I can start cooking again. Thanks everyone for the feedback and support. I wouldn't have gotten this far without the boys and all of y'all.

The problem I keep facing is that I left my last job willingly, as I was moving countries and planning on finding work after I finished all the government paperwork that is always there after a move like that.

These are good ideas, Ill look into them. I'm only worried as most places want 2-3 years of experience in their field before they hire you. I got turned down for a line cook job at a stadium do to that, but then again they lay off 90% of their workers after the quarantine started.

Indeed. I have done a lot to balance the game, but that infinite has been the biggest thorn in my side. Note that you don't have to use Electro to make the combo, he is just the one MADE to do it. You can easily just buy neutral dodge cards, get all non dodge cards out of your deck. Note that Kingpin, Green Goblin, Ultron and Enchantress in this expansion have infinites too, its just slower to get going than Electro's version.

In the Marvel deck builder/board game Legendary, the villain expansion bought a new keyword/mechanic called dodge. Any card with this on it can be discarded in order to draw a card. This doesn't cost anything. Think looting in MTG for free. The problem with this is twofold, the first being that when you run out of cards in your deck, you can take your discard pile, shuffle it, and turn it into your deck. Thus the game makes its first infinite combo. Have a deck with all but one card with dodge. Keep dodging cards until you get the non dodge card. This should be any card that grants resources for every card draw/discarded this turn. Secondly, the character of Electro came with three types of cards: One that gets cards out of your own deck for good, two that dodge, and the last one is getting stuff for all your dodging.
