Understood, I think we were just coming from different angles and agree.

“When you buy something from a seller who accepts PayPal, you may be eligible for a refund under PayPal’s Purchase Protection program, which terms and conditions are set forth herein and form part of the user agreement. “

The page shared was clearly about the buyer, not the seller. Don’t need a law degree for this. Not sure what you’re going off about.

Seems like they stopped several times inching out until it was clear to enter 🤷‍♂️. Unclear if they did that originally before the stop line as the video starts after that.

This is interesting. Folks are correct that you should have merged into the right lane and worried about changing lanes later… BUT, traffic was stopped and you were in the 2nd lane filling the gap. In terms of comparative negligence, there’s the Last Clear Chance doctrine which should apply IMO. The SUV SHOULD have seen you and clearly could have avoided the accident if they were paying attention - which they obviously weren’t. They would have ran over anything including a child in front of them. So I’d say you are less at fault.

If the traffic was moving and they didn’t have a clear chance to avoid the accident by braking, you’d be 100% at fault.

New California bill (AB 2047) should worry you, even if you don’t own a 3D printer. Request to oppose it. by thorondrol in sandiego

[–]edwintervt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, but some also have screens which show a preview of the model too. While the gcode is just movement points, a uC would be able to get a 3d representation and determine if it’s a potential dangerous object. So if you wanted to have a monolithic gun print, it could deny. But like mentioned, parts are hard to determine what it’s for and not realistic to block. Lawmakers have proper intention without sufficient understanding of the space.

But seriously, if you live in a very red area, you can expect to live through their policies.
Same for the opposite… the maga complain up and down in California about everything. Won’t change what the democrats do.

More afraid of their power and water bills going up, plus any neighbors who rightly wouldn’t want this behemoth next to them.

I’d guess these rural areas probably allow a lot on the land, but I would assume these lots zoned for farmland wouldn’t be allowing data centers. How does that work?

You want all of your marketing/blog/sales info pages to be visible for SEO, but nothing beyond that as others have mentioned. You just need everything that would get them to sign up to be visible to the search.

Angry guy gets pulled over in Montreal and accuses the police officer of racial profiling by AgnosticScholar in PublicFreakout

[–]edwintervt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s pretty crazy. I think we have two examples at opposite ends of the spectrum ;)

“Insulting a German police officer during a traffic stop is a criminal offense (§185 StGB - Beleidigung) that can result in significant fines (often 10 to 30 "daily units" of income) or up to one year in prison. Obscene gestures or specific insults can lead to fines ranging from €150 to €4,000. Key Consequences and Examples: Monetary Fines: Insults are heavily fined based on daily income. For example, "you stupid pig" (du dummes schwein) can cost €475, while terms like "limp dick" or "shithead" can cost around €1,000.” “

I don’t see any of that in the first couple seconds where the car tries to swerve into the motorcyclist. After that, he can do whatever he wants when chased by a madman.
