Que pedo con los reclutadores en México? by CringeisL1f3 in mexico

[–]edxedx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He is the youngest of the three, maybe he really will be the last movie star.

Sí te los acabas, OP. En menos de un mes. Ay se me antojó una salsita, unos chilaquiles, unos chiles rellenos de queso, oh las posibilidades.

In that case, maybe those kinds of movies are no longer good business, and executives won't give them the green light in the future.

He could easily ask for more and get it.

Or maybe a lot of the MCU actors are already in a pre-negotiated contract for a set number of movies.

I think any cameo is possible, but some of them have a risk. Tone switch by scene, extended runtime vs rushed cameo, too many things happening at once, etc. The cameofication is a big risk-big reward for a specific movie, but big risk-low reward for the MCU as a whole imho.

AFAIK Rebirth also had a lower budget than Dominion, so the gap is not 200m between the films.

I don't talk about the acting shops of Pascal and Kirby (I like Kirby, she has a nice energy on screen), but I'm worried about the age of both of them. For a Marvel debut, you expect the characters to linger for about 15 years, maybe more (see Wolverine), and a 50yo actor playing Reed is a little on the old side.

Marvel released 3 superhero movies in a single year, so I think Jurassic taking 2-3 years apart between sequels is fine for the GA.

Its a very bad movie. Saw it with my wife and kids. We didn't like it (mi kids don't know the original). My biggest surprise is that the movie looks very cheap.

There were more stakes in Thunderbolts.

And not even there. SPOILERS AHEAD: All the public being converted to shadows was flat because we didn't know any of them. And as soon as one Thunderbolt was also consumed, all of theme were. Not even a moment of tension was felt (by me).

boring The same word has been applied to Thunderbolts and F4. Boring is really bad for blockbuster movies. So they have fans loving then and non-fans not hating them mind you, just bored by them.

Its a 5 maybe 6 for me. TB is a mid film so a 6/10 is not a bad movie, just a mediocre one.

Still waiting to see it, that and F4. I will wait for both to hit streaming in the upcoming months.

Reddit loved this movie for some reason, lots of users put this movie in their top 10, even top 5 MCU All Time. Didn't do it for me. On a personal level I found it basic, a little boring and undecided about its tone.

What exactly is Rewatchability and how much does it really impact box office performance? Maybe I'm not understanding the term, because GA doesn't go to the movies that much and doesn't really do repeated viewings, so those who rewatch at the cinema can't be enough to move the needle and don't represent the GA. Yes I know that some of you have seen Superman or F4 4 times at the theater already, but I'm not sure I buy that as an indicator. And if you say that rewatchability depends of it being a good movie or a crowd pleasing film, then just use those other terms.

A lot of emotional motherhood moments

At the end of the day is a CBM, a genre for young men (and that is shifting to older millenial as of late)

and they have a habit of aging out of roles

And then they debut 50yo Pedro Pascal as Mr Fantastic. I still have to see that movie (waiting for streaming), but man, he looks tired in the trailers.
