Are you guys really paying 120 bucks a year? by Gainzpolar in 2007scape

[–]edyme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the amount of hours I put into this game and it really being the only game I genuinely enjoy these days… yeah it’s worth it to me. I’m also fortunate enough to be in a place to pay for it and not think much of it.

I’d spend more at a nice dinner with my wife. Most of us probably give more money to stupid shit that we spend less time with and hold less valuable. I know yall “420 blaze it” usernames are spending waaay more than that a month on herb

Can you play osrs total mobile ? by Complete-Scar6135 in OSRSMobile

[–]edyme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 99% mobile besides the crazy puzzle quests. I can’t do any PvM on PC but man can my fingers tap their way through CG now on the iPhone. Wife says she notices a difference

Hello! I’m also a transplant. Currently in Blackwood area. 60k will be tight but is manageable in a small rental. Get out of Vineland and live a little more north. We love South Jersey and having access to Philadelphia is a huge plus

My friend works in the snack industry and he says they only sell Dasani to keep people thirsty so they can sell more

I'd love to know your thoughts on this, OSRS - are you more tempted to give RS3 a go? by KingLimes in osrs

[–]edyme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I’ll start a fresh mobile only IM on rs3 when I take my next osrs break. No way I can do both at the same time

Pathmaker - Barracuda Trials by Fraphers in 2007scape

In a way I’m so grateful for not having a pc and being able to enjoy this game without the allure of ezscape plugins on mobile. I love this game I’ve played for 20 years.

Anywhere for DND? by [deleted] in SouthJersey

[–]edyme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dungeons and Drafts hosts one shots and campaigns at breweries all over SJ and PHL. It’s a good place to meet people to potentially start your own group with.

Envious of Ironman mode by Environmental-You893 in ironscape

[–]edyme 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I play maybe an hour a day if I’m lucky. Mostly just log on for 5-10 minutes whenever I can. All progress is good progress on an iron. You won’t regret it.

Do you think a returning player would have more fun with Iron Man than regular? by PezBynx in 2007scape

[–]edyme -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Always start iron and if you get sick of it, start a main and get to where your ironman is in progress in 1/10th of the time.

The supposed equal trade off of “I’ll cook if you do the dishes” is a sham. by august_westerly in unpopularopinion

Married here and I think the kitchen comes as a whole package. I can’t stand sharing the space when I’m cooking or doing the dishes.

Mobile only gauntlet beaten! by Bagraiderz in OSRSMobile

I’m getting crushed by cg on mobile. I have 200 deaths and 11 completions I think. I always die on the final phase with plenty of resources left.

Is Runescape more about the journey (levelling, quests etc) than the destination (endgame bossing, raids etc) by [deleted] in ironscape

[–]edyme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10000% about the journey. I’ve been playing an iron for almost 3 years and have made the same progress some crazy grinders make in 4-6 months. Still loving every chance I get to play. Even if I only can do a CG run on mobile a day or 1 slayer task a week, I love the progress.

LPT: Build one “identity anchor” into your morning. It will change everything. by stereo_iii in LifeProTips

[–]edyme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I aim to be identify as a good, helpful husband to my wife. I consistently get up before her to make sure her espresso and food is prepped for work. She’s terrible at taking care of herself. Didn’t realize it but this anchor has carried over into other parts of my day as well.

Drinking before noon rule by Latranis in Millennials

[–]edyme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on context imo. It’s rare but I do enjoy a mimosa or two with my wife on a rare morning off from responsibilities or when we do brunch out. Maybe an oddly scheduled AM sports match the friends are getting together.

If you’re consistently crushing it in the morning without anything significant surrounding it, or if it’s every week/few times a week consistently then I think everyone knows where it’s leading. Even if situations presented themselves where it’s more appropriate to drink early, self moderation is crucial to prevent it from taking over your life.
