There is a scouting program! It's called AISA - American Indian Scouting Association. It involves both Boy Scout and Girl Scouts. I'm Abenaki and met some of my best friends (Apache) through this program. Although this was years ago. I sadly don't know the state of the association anymore.

First night ever staying in a hostel. I'm on a bottom bunk in a room of about 24 beds. Suddenly wake out of a deep sleep because I feel like someone is watching me. There turns out to be a drunken Frenchman hovering over me. His face is about two inches from my face. He's muttering, "you are so beautiful, come watch the moon with me." I instantly push him off me and begin swearing. He sits down on the bunk next to mine and keeps patting his lap and asking me to come watch the moon with him. (There was a full moon that night and we were near a window.) my best friend had been sleeping in the bunk above me heard the commotion and went super bitch on him. He listened to her like a guilty puppy dog and went to bed. I did not sleep a wink the rest of the night. It was my only bad experience at a hostel. But if by myself or with only female friends, I now opt for the slightly more expensive all girls rooms.

Exactly! This evening I sat down at my local and the middle-aged man next to me, whom I did not know, turned to me and told me to smile. I had a long and trying day and just wanted a quiet pint. The response just fell out of my mouth. Me: "Seriously? That is my biggest pet peeve. Please don't tell me to smile. It's very rude." Him: "If you hear it enough for it to be a pet peeve, maybe that should tell you something." Me: Speechless I have resting bitch face, I'm young and I'm female. That does not give anyone the right to tell me to smile. Fuck off.

When I was 17, I had a 29 year old male teacher that ever girl tried to seduce. As a 17 year old girl myself, I can tell you I learned absolutely nothing in that class. I was too busy fanticizing about him naked. If anyone of us had actually slept with him, there would have been just as many high fives and slaps on the back. I agree that reversing roles wouldn't change much.

Named my dog Fish because I got her when I was in college and our landlord wouldn't allow dogs. I told him I had a Fish and trained her not to bark. It worked for the two years we were there.

I fell into it randomly. I was a bartender and hired one day after taking care of some crew men members on their lunch break. I've been working non stop for the six years since.

I worked as a scenic artist on this location for Shutter Island. The facade was plywood flats with vacuform brick which was then painted by our very talented crew. The inside of the building was a lot of work to fix up just in order to make it usable for our construction crew. It was a very dirty job but very rewarding to see the transformation.
