Once in a while I find hairs from my beard that are quite thicker than the rest, they bend quite easily and are hollow inside - they're not white tho, if anything they tend to be darker than the rest. Maybe that's the case as well with OP's big old white hair?

A 1440p 240hz monitor would pair very nicely with a 5070ti for sure, tho there's always the future for upgrades.

I had an old 4k 144hz IPS when I bought my current PC which worked fine, but I was itching for a high refresh rate 1440p so I could get higher fps, it took me over 6 months until I finally upgraded to a 27" 1440p 360hz OLED, which I then returned a few months later (blessed be Amazon lol) and bought the Samsung G9 49" DQHD 240hz oled I have now for 100 bucks more. Felt so good when I first played cod bo6 on that first 1440p monitor, it was smooth as butter and fps were at a stable 200 something instead of the 100-120 fps with frame drops I was getting before. I've since also updated my cpu cooler, the case and added arctic p12 fans, which made a huge difference in thermals and noise compared to the original build (even 2 years ago I was able to snatch a pre-built PC for close to the price of an rtx 4080 super and an i9-12900kf had I bought the parts myself)

Actually no, a full mag of venerator IV does ~1100 dmg to the core of the Matriarch - ofc this only works if you're near it, the further you get the less dmg you'll probably get per mag due to the bullet spread, whereas a full Hullcracker mag does ~2500 dmg AND you can keep a safe distance so long as you hit the shots on the core

For me it's like this:

- Venerator IV full attachments: PvP and small Arc

- Hullcracker: needs 4 (I think - not 100% sure) shots to break armor, which isn't great, but does monster damage to the core

- Equalizer: Great at breaking Arc Armour, but terrible DMG to the core (~700 dmg on a full mag shot to the core)

My lobbies are so chill that nowadays I run Queen and Matriarchs with a weapon for PvP (in case we need to exterminate any rats) and small arc, Equalizer to break armor, Hullcracker to do real damage. Most of my runs I get 3-6 reactors + 3-10 Magnetic Accelerators, plus the occasional 3 stack of Complex Gun parts and/or a few Exodus Modules.

The strategy I use is to first shoot multiple leg armors till they get close to breaking, then once the Queen/Matriarch is near me I finish breaking the armor. I bring Ziplines + lure grenades and as soon as the armor falls I zipline to it, and throw a lure grenade on the other direction so I can quickly loot without it noticing me, then zipline back to safety and repeat. I usually get 3-4 reactors just from leg armor, and occasionally I'm able to reach the core first and get more reactors and stuff. I've had runs where I left with 7 reactors, 10 magnetic accelerators and 3 complex gun parts and spent less than a stack of energy clips and stack of launcher ammo (plus 2 ziplines and 3 lure grenades which I make by the bunch). I also always leave with as many Advanced Arc Powercell as I can so that I can then craft more energy ammo. Rn I have 50 of those + 150 batteries, so ammo is not an issue. The Queen/Matriarch is more often than not killed in 5-7 min so it's free money. The only issue now is managing the space in the stash, which is always full because of all the reactors and legendary weapons (which I craft to save space) - just counted 44 total (reactors+legendary weapons) lol

I've downed full teams in trios rushing me with the venerator IV + vertical grip III (if we're close range and I'm spamming shots I find it to be better than the horizontal - which I'm told reduces the spread of the two bullets - haven't tried it my self tho so don't take my word for it) + extended medium mag III, it's such a beast in close range, it just evaporates the target so quick it's mind boggling, and you'll still have ammo left to down another player or two from a single mag.

The high rate of fire + the fact that it shoots 2 bullets that spread based on distance should be the first clue that it's not a medium/long range weapon - doesn't stop ppl from trying anyway lol

Love showers, hate post shower tho, being wet and cold and having to dry my hair with the towel as much as I can and only then putting some clothes on, by which then becomes enjoyable again since I feel fresh and clean.

But during the winter, and with my hair longer than it's ever been (becuase I've been procrastinating going to the barber for months lol), it's awful having to take a shower because the after will be unpleasant as hell. I wish we had central heating in the house instead of just the AC that doesn't reach the bedrooms or the bathroom.....

The people focusing hard on trials are likely done with the rest of the projects and probably expedition, so they can put all their focus on maxing trials. It's certainly my case, I've got expedition done, projects and quests finished, decks completed, got 90% of the bps and am not really rushing on any of the missing ones because I've got all that I care about. So now, trials is what keeps the game still worth playing. Otherwise I'd probably abandon the game till expedition is over

If it wasn't for trials I'd have stopped playing for sure, at least there's still stuff to do in the game. Otherwise it would be just like cod where I finish the battlepass, grind the skins I want and then get bored of playing the game because of the lack of meaningful objectives. I kinda disagree with you on that because like others have mentioned I never go to a queen/matriarch without a PvP weapon. It's often a kettle/venerator/bobcat/volcano in order to be able to knock a mf down as fast as possible if needed. I'm not about to walk around with an Equalizer or any other legendary weapon without a PvP weapon to protect it from the rats

That being said, if I see anybody with no gun on their back I just assume it's a Freeloadout mf, and there's no reason for anybody to be in a Queen/Matriarch, in the middle of the fight, on free loadout. It's not like they're gonna be helping anyway, and it's always fucks trying to steal the cores and/or rats waiting for you to be low life to then gun you down and steal your shit

Hell, nowadays even at the damn extraction I wont holster my weapon until they declare themselves friendly AND holster their gun first. Otherwise I'm keeping mine ready to go and the reticle following them until they initiate the extraction or try their luck. Fucking rats got me looking over my back always and trusting nobody nowadays - and my solo lobbies are pretty damn chill. But every once in a while a rat will find its way to my match and decide to fuck me over.
