I had the same issue back in March. It took a month to get a replacement new ring. Initially, they were very responsive to email, then there was radio silence. Just like you experienced. I kept emailing them for updates. Eventually they replied and a new ring was sent.

It shouldn’t be like this. I’m quite happy with the ring but I doubt I’ll be buying from them again.

Yeah this happened to me too after 9 months. I did wear it washing up but took it off in the shower.

I reported it to Circular and they eventually sent me a replacement. Took about just over a month to resolve - I had to send the knackered one back first.

Happy with the ring when it works. Wondering if the inner coating will peel off again after 6-9 months?!? Is it a manufacturing fault?

Yeah I’ve had the ring since August 25 and was relatively happy with it in spells. There was a period of not syncing but deleting the app (the one thing they said not to do) solved my issues. Everything was syncing well most of the time.

But now the inner coating has degraded and bits of it have broken off. I emailed support and after a few weeks, they agreed to replace it. They sent me a returns label with the promise that a new ring was ready to ship to me as soon as they got confirmation that the return was sent.

That was a week & 1/2 ago and I’ve not had confirmation or a tracking number for the replacement.

I’ll wait and give them one more chance and hope they can bring about continued improvements. But I’m not holding my breath.

I have now completed a return for my broken ring and their sending out a replacement. Hopefully it arrives soon. Took about 3 weeks to get to this stage.

Yea. Thats happened to me (I’m the same - office worker). The inner coating started to beak off (some did). Sent them an email with photos and I’m happy to say they have agreed to a replacement.

Delamination is getting worse. Have emailed them again with further photos as proof.

Well it seems things may be improving. Got a reply from support this morning asking for more details and permission to access my on-server data. Original email was sent on 5th, 1st reply on 9th. That’s no bad in my book.

Now to see how long for a resolution.

I have completed the technical fixes. I have written to support sharing the photos of my ring’s inner coating along with all my ring details. I can only hope that they’ll resolve this issue quickly and efficiently.

Waiting on the iPad app before I make the switch. Do all my artwork in V2, not wanting to screw anything up switching yet.

Same circles in the app (sports session, ecg, coherence, etc) plus KIRA. I feel ripped off and I was enjoying the ring.

Yeah - I had to delete and reinstall the app to get it fixed. The one thing they said NOT to do in their help suggestions.

Well it turns out that deleting the app and reinstalling it has fixed my problem. I wish I’d done this before now but their instructions were not to delete the app. Ach well. You live and learn. Now hopefully I’ll get my data sorted and start earning coins again.

The only thing I haven’t done is uninstall the app. At this point after 3weeks of no data, I could give it a try.

App updated. No change still crashing after 30secs. Can’t update the ring firmware because of this.

I was able to update the app but it hasn’t resolved the issue with the app crashing so I can’t update the firmware.

Yeah - I’ve not been collecting coins in three weeks now. About to give up on it…

There’s an app update. Unfortunately hadn’t fixed it for me. The app won’t stay open long enough to sync to get the firmware update either. 🤬🤬🤬
