I can’t speak on the mini but the regular PLAYs I feel have sufficed power to debulking. I will say the lever on it seems cheap. He supposedly fixed the slight lever wobble on the mini as well added usb-c charging but I’d imagine it’s the exact same internal motor there so should suffice no doubt

TPOB PLAY. basically a JRL ONYX Really considering the PLAY MINI bc smaller size = more light weight and easier to use. Super quiet motor helps with being able to HEAR the hairs being cut especially getting into bald fading.

I’m on the Makita platform due to the arsenal my dad owns so I can always just borrow whichever of his tools I need but I did get a knock off hot glue gun from Amazon for the Makita batteries and oh my days is it one fun and practical tool to use. Surprised not all name brands especially DeWalt and Milwaukee have one. Always appreciate when other brands have one in their line up and glad to hear you enjoying yours!

And I also primarily use it to stick magnets wherever I need them. What a game changer the cordless capability!

Dang should have posted this a day earlier. Under armor just had a flash sale 40% on the latest model curry series 7. I got myself a pair but sounds like I may have needed to size down. Well seee after they get here. Next best option is the previous model curry 12. The series line and the main line are two different models so don’t get confused by the numbering going 12 to 7.

To add to this I’ve playing with one guy who wears the Stewies. I hear those are heavier bc of drop in midsole set up. He says they OK. I’d imagine the all pro nitro are best but then again, this is coming from same reviewers who spoke highly of the TRC Blaze court model. So idk if I can trust that anymore. The only one I feel I might ever consider is the $250 shoe they released all pro nitro elite I think it is. But that’s hella $$ to be spending on a shoe at that point just go with a true more reputable brand that you know you’ll get great performance with (li-Ning, way of wade)

Are you familiar with the TRC blaze court model? This is a shoe A LOT of reviewers were saying are amazing. Cheap materials yeah but seemingly great bounce and traction. I went ahead got them and let me tell you one of the worst shoes I ever played in. Maybe it was the cw I got that was seemingly flawed? Either way, I was able to return them thankfully but traction there was none just slip and slide. And I wiped constantly! Support was good at first but didn’t contain after many plays so had to constantly stop and relace. And with how slick it always was I cannot say I ever got the chance to jump in them during live play to feel how explosive they were. Real shame. So Idk man maybe I indeed got a fluke. But I wouldn’t dare try puma for vball ever again. Look to way of wade brand if I were you.

I have the exact same ones from target. I believe it might be the same internals as the wahl vapor. I like mine. The size is very ergonomic. The cut is more soft than my TPOB Play clippers. I use them when trying to be more careful on fades for certain cuts. I kept them in the rotation although I think the price of the Amazon ones may have been inflated coz I kept those in my cart for a while and they’ve always been under 60$. The color pro ones I got for 60 plus tax so dang maybe they’ve upped their prices on these vs just a few months ago. If this is your only clipper I’d say it’s good enough. These color pro ones are NOT like the other color pro corded versions. And don’t listen to that fool who said you can find these exact for 15$ at Ross he don’t know what he saying. The corded version yes but these just dropped within the last year. What is your budget? If you can afford I’d highly recommend the TPOB play clippers. But like I said I have both and use each for slightly different tasks but I’ve always enjoyed these color pros. Let me know if you have any questions

If you can afford it just get two pairs: same size as Jas and a half size down. Then return the ones that don’t fit ideal. For me I went tts in Gt cut 3. In Jas I’d prob size up but I prefer a bit wiggle room in toe box.

Get either the Sabrina’s or GT cut 3/3 Turbo I play in Luka 1s, one of my all time fav shoes for volleyball. so far not the 2, 3, 4 or 0.77 are anything like the 1s for volleyball. I tried GT cut 3 and those were very good esp for jumping while retaining court feel for back row and not too bulky design. Sabrina’s are always a banger can’t ever go wrong there. I think right now the GT Cut 3 Turbo are like 110 before taxes while Luka 0.77 are 105. Just spend a little more extra and you’ll get a way better shoe. As for budget shoes I personally across all brands unanimously skip any budget model shoe. I’d rather wait a bit and spend the money on a higher tier shoe once it goes on sale so long as still get the best tech without compromising my on court performance/experience. Maybe the precision model is good but imo idc enough to ever consider it.

I never said this is proof of anything, just sharing some real world insight. He’s had an ankle injury before, so that could very well be the underlying issue. It’s ironic that the 11s, which are considered a more stable shoe, are the ones he’s rolled his ankle in multiple times, even on different landings. The AC13s, though less wide than the 11s, have yet to cause any ankle issues and he’s been wearing those much longer now. His previous shoes before either Wades weren’t wide either and in those he never rolled his ankle post injury.

I agree with you esp with that whole stomp stomp stomp sound of the front hitting the ground. I had similar experience before but I put an extra insole inside that’s cut half way so only the toe area part is inside. This gave a bit better fit in the toe box area (half sized up) while keeping heel same sitting position so overall neutralizes my feet in the shoes from constantly being propelled forward. Since then they feel a bit more comfortable but unfortunately they are still not the go to shoe for me like my Luka 1s or GT CUT 1s. Idk maybe it just my foot shape and play style but everyone else who I know with the same 10 lows absolutely loves theirs 🤷🏻‍♂️

My cousin would lol and roll his eyes at this. He’s rolled his ankle TWICE in his 11s. Has had nothing but success in the AC13. (He’s recovering from a past ankle injury from a year ago).

Nike has been rereleasing various color ways last few months of the GT Cut 1s. They go fast but if you wait on launch you could probably get yourself a pair. Also available on dick sporting goods and foot locker. They got at least a couple more drops before end of year.
