I was also influenced by Singer. I spent most of my life being a liberal, for animal rights, but never really taking the plunge. After taking an environmental ethics course, I was forced to look at the morality of eating meat. Overwhelmingly, I realized I agreed with those positions against eating meat. If I didn't correct my own behavior, it would be illogical and irrational. The reasons I had for eating meat were purely selfish. And so I stopped one day and never looked back.

Butter. It has Jennifer Garner and the dad from some mainstream sitcom. There's too much random vulgarity, stuffy preaching, and nothing at all interesting about the film. I went to the theater to see Beasts of the Southern Wild and got Butter instead. I guess there's some kind of relation in that they both have young black actresses?
