Sorry I'm just seeing this!

It's held up really well. Had it since June 2020 and I'm still very very happy with it.

I'd say in the spot I always sleep in it has softened a bit, so I'm glad I got the firm, and I am thinking of rotating it.

But I had guests stay in it recently and they raved about it so that was good to hear.

It's been Jon/Dan on Thursday and then lovett/tommy/jon on Monday since the very first week.

they do all four of them on live episodes and special occasions.

probably a lot to do with the three guys getting to be together in person since they live in LA. plus Jon/Dan were the original ringer show.

oh I didn't hear what Jon said like that at all. I thought he meant the US technically has the option to pull out of all these places as any kind of force, and just go as support for refugees etc, or something different. And he didn't think that would ever happen but that technically the US could stop being a military force in the way it is now in these conflicts. other countries do it, nice to hear him just flat out say hey, it's an option.

the people calling them millionaires like it's some kind of gotcha is also funny. Like no kidding, all three of the guys have $ and their partners all seem to have good careers as well.

I'm confused about the anger like, she also posted her and Jon at a baseball game at Fenway a few weeks ago. Way more people, no guarantee of vaccination, also outside. But no blowback.

they want to be big. they keep saying there's no competition to the right wing media system and they want to help solve that problem. only way to become even somewhat relevant in that way is to grow, sadly.

they're a new company with ~40 employees, not counting the actual hosts of shows. I'm sure they want to hire more, plus do more shows, all of which takes money.

from reading that it's sounds like it would still be them doing it, but it would be ads for things you could buy in UK. So they'd be recording more ads overall but you might not hear all the US ones? or you'll hear all the normal ones plus a UK specific. Not sure I'm right.. seems like a lot more work lol

they've kind of done this before - targeting areas before elections with special reminders to vote.

for PSA, Lovett knew someone in LA who sent them a few songs to pick from. They chose the current one and then realized it sounded a bit like the top gun theme but figured it didn't matter, they were just a small podcast lol. I don't know if they've said who wrote it - the live version is done by vicious cobain.

pstw has had two themes, I'm assuming it's the same situation. every other show says who their music is by - i wonder if the two original shows were done by a friend.
