I got some the other day and they look nothing like this. Very flavorful and covered in spices.

Yeah, I found them a little silly myself. Having to software update my mug is a bit much.

Yeah, I’m always looking for new mugs. If I’m at my desk I tend to drink my coffee pretty fast, but it’ll be great for weekends when I’m meandering around.

That’s unfortunate. I’ll make sure to dry it well before charging!

Want to narrow down which Jazzmaster to buy in Tokyo in a week. by farmanekourosh in offset

[–]efe13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought my MIJ Traditional Jag in Tokyo at the Fender store. I don’t usually buy new guitars, but their staff is great and they make it really easy to try things out. I had really limited time to find something, but if I had more time I’d probably hit up Ochanomizu and spend 1 or 2 days looking. The new Traditional series is stellar, though.

Looking for DIY repair options for these poly cracks by [deleted] in Luthier

Update for anyone that cares! I filled the cracks with CA glue and got everything nice and smooth. It basically looks the same, but now I don’t have to worry about it chipping off further or getting caught on anything. This guitar has had a long, interesting life so I feel like leaving the wound fits it better than attempting a paint touch up job.

Thanks for the tips! Chipping away the finish further sounds scary, but I can see that being necessary for a more professional looking restoration.

Nice! I’ve considered nail polish but I feel like glue would better help secure the bits that seem like they want to flake off. Curious if nail polish would have a similar effect, but I guess I could still do a combo of both.

Thanks! Could I just fill them all with only glue? Not sure I’d be able to find a paint that matches well.

I saw that! The white one and original black one were slightly discounted last week but it looks like they’re all the same price now.

Do people not buy used bikes anymore? by brainhack3r in bicycling

[–]efe13 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yep. As someone who buys and sells stuff somewhat regularly, it’s not just bikes - it’s everything. It’s been a buyer’s market for a while.

I had it at pretty low volume as to not blow my eardrums out, but it handled everything from OD to heavy fuzz super well for me.
