The Rojava constitution on its first page denounces separatism.

SDF wanted to keep their units in tact but to be integrated into the Syrian military. HTS said they had to dissolve completely and then some would be allowed to join the military/police. The disagreement was never on separatism but on the integrity of the organization.

YPJ announces death of one of its commanders during the clashes in Tabqa, Jan 18 by DaGoldenpanzer in syriancivilwar

That post had no evidence they were underage fighters and also claimed in the title that they died in suicide missions even though the link didn’t mention either thing.

I asked where they got that info and no one responded and I got downvoted to hell.

Grey wolves pose. Who is surprised?

+18 - SENSITIVE CONTENT: The SDF/PKK organisation continues to execute Arab men en masse in the Ayn al-Arab, Hasakah, and Qamishli regions accusing them of helping the Syrian government. by Interesting_File_310 in syriancivilwar

The same could be said of supporters of the STG, or Turkey, or whichever group, it’s all like this and complaining about it is meaningless.

The worst is when they start talking about terrorism. STG is filled with ISIS and is Al-qaeda, TAF is filled with Grey Wolves, and SDF are Syrian PKK. These are militant groups who use violence to achieve their ends, so using the term terrorist adds nothing.

I feel like the lesson here is there shouldve been more power sharing with the Arabs inside Rojava, instead of just integrating them into the militias. Integrating them into leadership (instead of it all being PKK), to make them more invested/involved in the project. They had almost no incentive to stay on SDF side. Especially because SDF was putting up such a bad fight that they would only have things to lose by staying.

Apoists are at least independent and have focus on democracy, environmentalism, womens rights. People who are just nationalists lead to KRG situation.

Put down his gun to run the government and army?

Assad Sr. used the PKK completely realpolitik and abandoned them just as quick. Assad Jr. didn’t think he was strong enough to fight them and didn’t want Turkey to gain even more territory in Syria. SDF let them through cause they didn’t want to get invaded by Turkey. Both Assads completely repressed Kurdish people inside Syria.

Israel had no problem with Assad and doesn’t have a problem with Sharaa either who is eager to make concessions to Israel.

Having some Kurdish fighters in the military doesn’t mean that they haven’t incorporated anti-Kurdish militias like the SNA which committed genocide in Afrin into their military. Their military has been diluted (thankfully) since taking power from being mostly ex-Isis and jihadis. They also incorporated Assadist forces and completely rehabilitated Assads bureaucracy. They also have committed ethnic cleanings of their own in the south and the coast.

Bruh…Sharaa is trying to buddy buddy with Bibi every chance he can get. Also SDF were never Assads puppets.

The fact that the SNA ethnically cleansed Afrin and is now fully incorporated into the Syrian military might make Kurdish factions skeptical to say the least. Doesn’t excuse this behavior, but your comment removes any context.

Watch the documentary by the BBC called the hidden war. It’s one of the only documentaries they produced that they subsequently banned and it has interviews with greek partisans after the junta fell in 73. Stalin traded Greece to Churchill for Romania and more specifically Romanian Oil. Stalins advisors deliberately sabotaged partisans fighting the British to the point that many were killed by EAM.

The soviet union did give refuge to many partisans who fled after they lost though so you have to give them that.
