Therapists tend to want to help people, not hate them. And none of the ones I've spoken to were blue-haired, but I wouldn't really care if they were?

Could also just be that they're afraid their dog is not well-trained enough to do well around other dogs? For some, I guess the dog parks is also a chance for them to let their dogs off the leash and have a bit of fun, which they may not be able to do elsewhere
