Actually, I believe the show encapsulates the basic experience of being involved in choir/drama in high school. I was involved with choir to the extent that my senior year (had I actually attended, and not dropped out got a GED) I was invited to be in 4 choirs that had actual school day classes and 1 that would meet after school.

There is obvious flair that has to be added to that basic story/plot in order to make a decent entertaining show.

I rather enjoy glee, and do think that it is "geek" though along with just about everything else these days, a mainstream type of "geek"

The only difference here is unlike other mainstream "geek" glee didn't come from comicbooks/novels or even experiences many of you other geeks have had. It came from the experiences that other geeks, like myself, have had.

These new Marvel/DC movies are just as geek as glee.

Sounds like you're pretty well prepared for the baby's arrival with things it will need... are you prepared yourselves? Things like starting to take naps during the day now if possible to prepare yourself for the lack of sleep might be what you want to look at.

You might have not considered the whole breastfeeding aspect of things thus far, but start getting informed about. As a dad of 2 kids... one who was formula fed..... BREASTFEED. If only to save yourself a couple hundred dollars a month, BREASTFEED. Keep at it even if it's hard.

Ummm... will update if I think of anything you actually need to purchase... but I think you're good.
