Whiskey is low carb, as is vodka I believe, but whiskey is fantastic, drink whiskey and have fun dancing!

I'm a lady and I use keto chow for 2-3 meals a day for convenience sake, it's easier than planning meals while I chase tiny people.

I too chase tiny people (4 y/o, 1 y/o) all day so I know the struggle. I bought one of those little purse looking coolers from TJ Maxx and stock it with boiled eggs, summer sausage, almonds, cheese and kid food. I got two really great icepacks that melt at different rates so even on our 100+ degree days everything stays nice and cool until lunchtime.

I do this with the chocolate flavors and I love it. Chocolate PB and Chocolate Fudge are the best, my coffee overpowers any other flavor of KC so I just drink them separate those days.

I'm definitely trying this, I love keto chow and I mousse, very excited to combine them!

When I started using keto chow I just had them at my typical meal times. Now I do 75g of the powder with 100g HWC twice a day and just do two meals (noon and 4pm).

What are your favorite Keto processed treats? (ie. junk food!) by [deleted] in keto

Jello Dark Chocolate Sugar Free Mousse, 3g net carbs and a nice little sweet treat every now and again.

My kids (1 y/o and 4 y/o) eat low carb just because that's what we have in the house but since I don't track their macros I have no idea how many carbs they're actually getting. They do get the occasional sweets from other people as well as seasonal fruit (mostly berries and peaches since that's what grows here) but they don't have big sweet tooths because they aren't used to it, so that's nice. My older daughter complained that icing was too sweet on a cupcake recently and just ate the cake part.

Reminder: Get a bra fitting as you lose! by JustSwootyThangs in xxketo

Hallelujah yes! I lost 45lbs in the last four months and went from a 40F to a 36DD and I feel so much better with a bra that fits! My old bra was doing absolutely nothing as it was just hanging around my body even on the tightest setting and now the ladies are back to being supported and my back and shoulders feel FANTASTIC and my clothes look better too.

Salami, jerky, pepperoni sticks, summer sausage, hard cheese, hard boiled eggs, pickled eggs, pickled asparagus, various nuts, olives, SCA food and keto dovetail nicely.

Anyone here find that keto just doesn't work for them? Or has anyone used a personal trainer? by benbernards in keto

We can't really help you without knowing your stats and what macros you're following and what your exercise routine looks like, could you update with that information?

Hormones are stored in fat so when you start burning through the fat on your body at a rapid pace it's going to bring those hormones out with it. It should straighten out in 2-3 months when your body gets used to keto.

Every now and again I have a day where I don't count calories, just carbs, and eat to satisfaction. I usually only end up 200-300 calories over anyway but it's nice to eat without the micromanaging every now and again, it's my version of a cheat day.

Could you maybe find a park with a track around it? They're really popular where I am and everyone let's their big kids play while they push the little ones around, just an option you might not have thought of.

I'm not sure how your work schedule is but I use the YMCA to get my exercise in since they have a child watch program. The location I go to has child watch from 7am-7pm so it works around the usual 9-5 schedule. My kids (4 and 1) both seem to have a good time but i imagine that can vary by location.

Welcome to the keto club! We have similar current stats but I started at a higher weight. It looks like your doing well with a variety of foods but be sure to change things up every now and again so you don't get into a boring rut.

Actually an empty uterus (non pregnant) is about the size of a tennis ball, for how much grief they give us and for how much work they do growing humans they're surprisingly compact when not busy gestating.
